Players can now try out a free demo of the 3D bullet hell shooter *Homura Hime* on PC through Steam. The demo is available as part of Steam Next Fest: October 2025 Edition and will be available until October 21, according to publisher PLAYISM and developer Crimson Dusk.

Playable Demo available during Steam Next Fest
This demo showcases a unique level designed to let players try out all the main features of the game, including a challenging boss fight. Players will be the first to experience both the combat and platforming in this demo.
The demo will only be available for a short time before the game launches, so we recommend trying it out while you can.
We’ve added a special online mode called “Boss Rush” just for this demo! It lets you compete against other players for the highest score, so be sure to check it out and see if you can reach the top of the leaderboard.
Hey everyone, just a heads-up about the demo! Things are still being tweaked and polished as we build the full game, so what you see now might not be *exactly* the same when it launches. Also, unfortunately, any progress you make in the demo won’t transfer over to the final game – we had to make some changes under the hood. Finally, the online leaderboards will be exclusive to the demo, so climb those ranks while you can!
Stage Showcase
The game begins in Adashino, a scenic area filled with lush plants, graves, and Jizo statues. Here, Homura Hime will practice using her basic skills as she explores. The stage culminates in a frightening battle against the powerful archdemon Agasa, who appears as a young girl.

You can even hear their work yourself – the demo version includes character voiceovers, so give it a try!
