Ciara Milleris keeping a sunny disposition despite the drama in her life.
Just a week after Amanda Batula, Ciara’s close friend, and her former boyfriend West Wilson announced they are dating, Ciara playfully addressed the resulting drama while hosting the premiere of Euphoria season three.
As a lifestyle expert, I always appreciate when someone can speak to a situation with a bit of personal understanding. That’s why I thought Sydney Sweeney was the perfect choice to talk about this—after all, her character on HBO definitely knows a thing or two about complicated love lives! It felt natural to have her offer a relatable perspective on the drama.
Ciara jokingly asked Sydney in an HBO interview, shared on Instagram on April 8th, “If you start dating your friend’s ex-boyfriend, what do you expect will happen next?”
Sydney, who plays Cassie Howard on the show, reacted with discomfort when asked about her character starting a relationship with Nate Jacobs (Jacob Elordi), the ex-boyfriend of her character’s best friend, Maddy Perez (Alexa Demie). She simply said, “It’s not good.”
Okay, so Ciara – seriously, she’s amazing – just told Russell, like, straight to his face, that they absolutely need to get married! She’s thirty, and she just laid it all out there – she basically said, ‘You HAVE to propose!’ I’m living for it, honestly. It’s about time!
Oh my gosh, you guys, Sydney James Harcourt—yes, the Sydney from Anyone But You—basically just confirmed what we all want! Someone asked her if she thinks her character, Bea, will finally marry Nate in season three, and she was like, ‘I really, really hope so!’ I’m seriously losing it right now, this is everything!
After Ciara said it needed to be worthwhile, Sydney explained the reasoning behind both of their feelings.
I’ve always remembered him saying, ‘You have to make it worth it,’ and he really meant that – it just wasn’t worth going through all that hardship for nothing. He believed strongly that any sacrifice needed a real reward, because the pain was simply too great otherwise.
Ciara made her first public appearance since West and Amanda addressed rumors about their relationship, which had been circulating for weeks.
In a joint statement posted on Instagram on March 31st, the couple explained that they never meant to keep anything secret.
Considering how complex our relationship is and the public attention we get from being on the show, we needed some time to sort things out privately. We’ve always been there for each other as friends, through good times and bad, and this new development was a complete surprise to both of us.
They explained that their relationship developed from a strong, existing friendship, so they felt it was crucial to handle things carefully.

Ciara, who was linked to West in 2023, hasn’t spoken publicly about the recent controversy. However, she has given fans a small update on how she’s doing.
Just a day before the news became public, the former star of Traitors attended the season two premiere of Your Friends & Neighbors. When Jon Hamm asked how she was doing, she replied, “I’m okay, but I’ve definitely felt better.”
After Kanye West and Amanda Idibia’s statement became popular online, Ciara posted a segment of the interview to her Instagram, playfully referencing the show’s name with the question: “If you can’t trust your Friends & Neighbors, who can you trust?”

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been following Ciara Miller and West Wilson’s relationship, and it’s so lovely to see! They actually found each other while filming season eight of Summer House in 2023, and things quickly moved from an on-screen spark to a real-life romance. It’s always exciting when reality TV connections blossom into something genuine!
However, their romance wouldn’t last long, with the costars breaking up at the end of that year.
Their difficult breakup created tension at the summer house for the next two years, as Ciara wrestled with whether to forgive the sports reporter for hurting her and potentially try to rebuild their relationship.

After a rocky four-year marriage filled with challenges, Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke have decided to separate, just before the tenth season of their Bravo series airs in 2026.
The longtime co-stars announced on Instagram on January 19th that they have decided to separate. They shared a joint statement saying the decision was mutual and made with respect for each other. They asked for privacy and support as they both focus on moving forward and healing.
Amanda and Kyle, who got married in September 2021, shared that while they’ve always been open about their relationship, they’re asking for privacy right now. They appreciate kindness and respect as they move forward.
The show gave viewers an intimate look at the couple’s struggles, essentially watching their relationship fall apart.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been following the buzz, and it seems like everyone’s talking about Amanda and West! The rumors really took off when Deuxmoi, a popular gossip blog, posted about them being seen together in New York City on March 5th, and apparently, there was definitely some flirting going on. It quickly spread from there!
Addressing rumors, West dismissed the speculation during a March 24th appearance on Watch What Happens Live. He explained that she was currently single and had previously dated people she’d met while socializing. He clarified they were simply spending time together in New York City, and he was just showing her around.
The journalist said, “She’s a close friend – someone I really care about a lot.”

After news spread about a possible relationship between West and Amanda, some of their fellow cast members offered their reactions.
On March 29th, Carl Radke posted a confused-looking photo to his Instagram Stories. Lindsay Hubbard and KJ Dillard followed suit, sharing similar expressions of bewilderment on their own social media accounts.
Austen Kroll, another reality TV star and friend to several cast members of Summer House, appeared to weigh in on the drama. On March 29th, he posted to his Instagram Stories, “Apparently, dating your friends’ exes and eating pasta are both trending again.”

Amanda and West publicly confirmed the rumors were true in a joint statement posted on Instagram on March 31st.
We never meant to keep our relationship a secret,” the message posted to Instagram Stories explained. “Because things were complicated, and being on a reality show means everyone’s watching, we needed some time to figure things out privately before talking about it.
We understand this situation has only affected us and we never intended to cause any pain or seem irresponsible. We’re grateful for your understanding and respect as we work through this.

Just as West and Amanda revealed they were dating, Ciara was seen in New York City with a friend who was offering her support. She also started getting messages of encouragement from friends and colleagues on social media, as people within the Bravo TV community began choosing sides in the dramatic love triangle.
Amanda’s soon-to-be ex-husband, Kyle Cooke, appeared to make light of their ongoing issues by sharing a selfie with Ciara on Instagram on March 30th.
Paige DeSorbo, known from Summer House, publicly showed her support for Ciara on Instagram, simply writing, “Ur perfect.” Lindsay Hubbard and Dara Levitan, who joined the show this season, also voiced their support, with Lindsay calling Ciara “Perfection” and Dara adding, “And that’s how you do it.”

Two days after Amanda and West went public, Kyle slammed his former friend for moving in on his ex.
He told journalist Adam Glyn in a TikTok video posted in April that he felt deeply betrayed. “He just completely ended our friendship,” he said. “I thought we had a ‘bro code’ – what happened to that?”
Kyle also insinuated West’s intentions were calculated.
He told Adam that West is skilled at understanding his audience and knows exactly how to appeal to women. He added that people are impressed by what looks like a positive change in West’s behavior, but it’s likely he’s intentionally acting that way to gain support.

Ciara’s longtime BFF Paige DeSorbo made it clear whose side she’s on amid the fallout.
Okay, so Ciara is genuinely one of us, you know? Like, a real friend. We’ve been checking in on her constantly, just trying to be there for her. And honestly, we’re totally Team Ciara, always have been. There’s absolutely no way we’d ever try to profit off of something so personal and painful for her. It just wouldn’t happen. She deserves our support, period.
Paige went on to share “the final thing” she was going to say about the situation.
Paige emphasized that Ciara is a strong, smart, and capable woman. She explained that Ciara will share her thoughts and feelings when she’s ready, and Paige wouldn’t presume to speak for her.

After waiting a week, Ciara finally spoke up and let everyone know how she was doing with a brief message.
At the premiere of Euphoria season three on April 7th, Ciara shared with Entertainment Tonight that she’s doing very well despite the recent, highly publicized relationship between Amanda and West.

Ciara showed she wasn’t bothered by the growing connection between Amanda and West, playfully dismissing their romance while hosting the red carpet event for the premiere of HBO Max’s Euphoria season three.
Ciara jokingly asked Sydney Sweeney, referencing her character’s complicated love life on HBO, ‘If you start dating your friend’s ex, what happens next?’ This comment was made during an event on April 7th.
Ciara, age 30, directly told her partner what she wanted for their future, stating, “I think we should get married.”
