Elle Fanning is sharing all the bright places of her romance with Gus Wenner. 

Angelina Jolie recently opened up about her romance with Rolling Stone’s chairman, which began in 2023.

For Elle, 27, publicly displaying her feelings for Gus, 35, online is a key part of what makes their relationship so strong.

Elle recently told *Vanity Fair* that a partner not posting about you on Instagram is a warning sign. She explained that she and her boyfriend make a point of sharing photos of each other online because they love each other.

Another key part of their love story? Getting the A-OK from her older sister Dakota Fanning.

“I’m so happy. And Dakota loves him,” Elle shared. “That’s the seal of approval.”

I remember hearing how Gus really won Brittany Murphy over right at the beginning of their romance! Apparently, they had this amazing chance meeting in Las Vegas, and he totally charmed her from the start. It was such a sweet story, and clearly, it made a lasting impression!

Elle remembered when they first started dating and she was falling for him. At an after-party, she turned around and unexpectedly saw him there.

Elle was in Paris at the time, but her sister and her boyfriend spent most of the evening together.

Elle explained that Dakota spent the entire night gambling with her friends, and Elle was receiving videos of Dakota dancing with a man named Gus.

Dakota also fondly remembers her time with Gus, though she still felt it was important to have a serious conversation with him.

I had a frank but friendly conversation with him – just letting him know where I stood with a smile,” the 31-year-old told *Vanity Fair*. “It went really well. I feel like he’s a brother to me.”

Gus, whose father is the founder of *Rolling Stone* magazine, Jann Wenner, has also shared how fortunate he feels to have Elle in his life.

I was so touched by what he posted for her on Valentine’s Day! He wrote this beautiful message on Instagram saying, ‘Every day is Valentine’s Day, my love,’ and then simply, ‘You are my heart.’ It was just the sweetest thing to see!
