After their tours, Demi Lovato and Jutes wanna get back to each other.
Singer Jordan Lutes, known as Sleepyhead, is excited about his upcoming tours in Europe this May and North America in August. However, he’s sad he’ll be away from his wife for their first wedding anniversary, as she’s starting her own tour later this month.
Jutes acknowledged in a recent interview with TopMob News that discussing the situation is difficult and upsetting. He explained they’re choosing to put off thinking about it because they know it will be a challenging time. “It’s gonna be tough, there’s no way around that,” he said.
The 35-year-old, who married Demi last May, said he really hopes this kind of scheduling problem doesn’t happen again, calling it frustrating.
Despite everything, he remained optimistic that being apart would actually strengthen their relationship.
Jutes said they’ll just act like everything is normal until the tour ends. Then, they’ll be able to celebrate being together, which will be great. He acknowledged being apart is tough but they’ll make it work by staying connected with lots of video calls and figuring things out as they go.
Oh my gosh, I’m SO excited for Jutes! He just released “Disassociate” on March 25th, and I can’t wait to hear it live! He’s heading to Europe on May 2nd, and he says touring is his absolute favorite thing to do as a musician. Seriously, getting to see him play songs from “Disassociate” and his last two albums is going to be incredible. I’m already counting down the days!
For me, the best part of doing a show is definitely the fans being there in person,” he explained. “While things like streaming numbers and other data are nice to see and show growth, they can’t compare to the energy of having fans sing along to your songs live.
I’m so excited for him! He’s hitting the road again in August for the North American leg of his tour, which he’s calling ‘Smile You’re On Tour.’ He says it’s the biggest project of his career so far, and he’s incredibly grateful to his fans for making it all possible. It’s amazing to see how much support he has!
Jutes funds his tours himself. He explained that money from ticket and merchandise sales goes directly towards making the next tour possible. He essentially reinvests the profits from each tour into improving the next one, using his own resources to make it happen.
He’s sad to miss Demi while she’s on tour promoting her new album, It’s Not That Deep, for the next month, but he wants everyone to know they still strongly support each other.
He said she has more faith in him than he has in himself. He’s deeply in love with her, and also considers her incredibly talented – one of the most gifted people he knows. Her belief in him is a huge motivation and makes him feel empowered.
He shared that he genuinely enjoys witnessing her success, saying it brings him even more joy than achieving success himself.
Jutes says his feelings for Demi continue to grow, and he’s falling “more and more in love” with her as their marriage approaches its one-year mark.
Jutes explained that he’s often heard people say marriage is difficult and involves a lot of arguing. But he finds himself surprised when conflicts arise, wondering if disagreements are just an expected part of being married and if they’re supposed to act like they’re fighting even when they don’t want to.
Jutes is busy with touring this summer, but he’s especially excited to spend more time with his close friend and deepen their relationship. He says he’s looking forward to falling even more in love and being together constantly.

On December 16th, Jutes proposed to Demi in Los Angeles with a pear-shaped diamond ring. They then celebrated with their families at a restaurant.
The couple recently adopted a blonde puppy and introduced him as a new member of their family. Demi shared the news on Instagram, playfully calling him their ‘son’ and revealing his name is Pickle, inspired by one of her favorite snacks.
