Ed Sheeran cut all his bad habits out of his life when his kids entered the picture.
Singer Ed Sheeran recently revealed that becoming a father to his two daughters, 5-year-old Lyra and 3-year-old Jupiter, with his wife, Cherry Seaborn, inspired a major health overhaul that led to him losing 30 pounds.
Ed told Men’s Health UK that becoming a father sparked his focus on health. He recalled that when his daughter, Lyra, was just two weeks old, he was having a glass of wine with a friend when she woke up shortly after he’d gone to bed.
He remembered thinking, “I really shouldn’t drink if I’m going to feel this bad. I want to be able to enjoy the evening.”
He also wanted to make significant changes in his life overall. He explained that he was at a point where he wanted to be a good father and prioritize his health and well-being.
The 34-year-old explained he wants to stay healthy for his young daughters, saying he didn’t want to be unable to care for them due to injury. He specifically mentioned not wanting to be in a situation where he couldn’t even lift his children due to back pain.
The Grammy-winning artist has seen changes in his weight and health over time, but he recently committed to a healthier lifestyle by incorporating running, weight training, and Pilates into his fitness regimen.
For Ed, the benefits have been tenfold.
He believes your physical wellness is closely connected to your mental and emotional state. He described personally struggling with this, saying he often felt awful and disliked what he saw when he looked in the mirror.
Of course, Ed hasn’t completely left his old self behind.
He clarified that he still enjoys life’s pleasures, including having a drink now and then. He particularly loves red wine and a good meal, but he doesn’t indulge every day.
Ed has spoken about his health before. Last year, he revealed he battled binge eating while feeling pressure to meet the physical expectations of other male pop singers.

He admitted he felt very uncomfortable discussing the issue publicly, especially as a man. He knew some people might react negatively, but he believed honesty was important because many others go through the same thing and keep it hidden.
Ed mentioned he was working on finding a healthy balance in his life.
He believes that enjoying your food while also staying active and maintaining your desired physique is a healthy and sustainable approach to wellness. He described it as finding a good balance between indulgence and fitness.

The Bravo host detailed his health and fitness journey using an Ozempic-like drug.
During a September 2025 episode of his SiriusXM radio show, Andy Cohen Live, the 57-year-old revealed he’d lost a significant amount of weight over the summer by using a GLP-1 medication. He explained he’d been unhappy with his weight and, after discussing it with his doctor last year, decided to try a GLP-1. The medication was recommended not just for weight loss, but also to help with artery plaque and high blood pressure, offering broader health benefits. He ultimately agreed to start the treatment.
He explained that it really helped him control his cravings, which had been a major struggle, and motivated him to be more disciplined with his diet and exercise.

The singer shared in November 2024 that he had lost 120 pounds.
Jelly Roll explained he intentionally shared his personal challenges publicly, specifically on his wife Bunnie XO’s podcast, Dumb Blonde, because he wants to be open and honest about his difficulties with others.
He explained that his success wasn’t because of his weight, but rather despite it, and he wanted everyone to understand that.

The talk show host has been feeling healthier and has lost weight after learning she was pre-diabetic. She told People magazine that she’s been following her doctor’s advice, something she hadn’t done consistently for a couple of years. She also mentioned that eating a protein-rich diet works well for her and she sticks to it most of the time.
She is a Texas girlie after all, “so I like meat—sorry, vegetarians in the world!”
The mother of River and Remington is settling into her new life in New York City and enjoying the change of pace. She joked that walking around the city is great exercise, and she’s been focusing on wellness, recently getting into infrared saunas and even a cold plunge after friends convinced her to try it.
She decided against taking the popular weight loss drugs many people are talking about. “My doctor kept encouraging me for two years, but I was hesitant because I have thyroid issues,” she shared on The Kelly Clarkson Show in May 2024. While many assume it was Ozempic, she clarified it was a different medication – one that helps her body process sugar more effectively, since she has trouble with that naturally.

Everyone’s getting health advice from a media icon who’s feeling fantastic! She’s sharing what helps her stay healthy, and it’s not just one thing – it’s a combination of things like treadmill workouts, hiking, drinking plenty of water, and eating well, as she told Entertainment Tonight.
Oprah Winfrey recently shared that she’s using a weight loss medication, which she described as a welcome relief. In an interview with People magazine, she explained that having a medically approved option for managing her weight feels like a gift, and she’s no longer willing to feel ashamed or be criticized for it. She emphasized that she’s finished with both external and self-imposed shaming.

The HGTV personality demonstrated a remarkable life change, sharing details of his two-year fitness journey in an Instagram post from July 2023.
He explained that sometimes what feels like the right path actually requires a change in direction to truly improve. While he used to do hot yoga with his wife, Heather Rae El Moussa, he realized he wasn’t consistently working out, monitoring his diet, or getting any professional advice.
Nutritionist Sean Torbati emphasizes the importance of both a healthy diet and regular exercise, like hot yoga – which he does once or twice a week – for overall well-being. He believes that staying motivated and persistent are key to achieving your goals.
He had a turning point when he truly understood how much he desired to feel good and be healthy – not just for himself, but for his family and future. That’s when he committed fully to making it happen!

The cohost of The View shared that she used Mounjaro, a medication for type 2 diabetes, to lose weight after gaining weight in 2021.
She revealed on a recent talk show that she once weighed nearly 300 pounds. She explained that after using steroids in the past, she’s been able to lose weight with the help of a medication called Mounjaro, which she currently uses.

The Grammy-winning artist is aware people noticed her recent weight loss and impressive physique. She attributes her transformation to a combination of healthy eating, exercise, and the use of a weight loss medication containing GLP-1.
In a March 2025 Instagram post, she shared that she’s feeling fantastic after making significant changes to her lifestyle following her second pregnancy. These changes included working with a nutritionist, starting an exercise program with a trainer, and utilizing medication – specifically mentioning Mounjaro – along with support from others.

The reality TV star is confident in her appearance, regardless of what others think. She recently addressed rumors about weight loss, posting on Instagram in February, “I really don’t like talking about this, but I haven’t had any surgery or medical procedures to lose weight.”
Although she’s lost 100 pounds, bringing her weight down from 385 to 285 – including 50 pounds after her mother, Barbara “Babs” Thore, passed away in December 2022 – she’s been at 285 pounds for almost a year now.
Simply put, she said she appreciated the compliments, but she doesn’t like to focus on appearances – either her own or anyone else’s.

The actress, knowing she’s considered attractive no matter where she goes, recently shared her honest thoughts on body image in an Instagram post last February.
Okay, so I was scrolling through old photos and found this amazing bikini pic from 2014. I’m 5’4″ and, yeah, back then I weighed 150lbs. Honestly, I don’t even own a scale anymore! It’s just… ridiculous. Everyone has their idea of what’s ‘overweight,’ but who are they to decide? I let those standards get to me for way too long, and I’m so done with that now. It’s just silly!
Free from the stress of dieting, she realized she was a kind, funny, and thoughtful person. She emphasized that your worth and character shouldn’t be defined by your size or weight, and that you are valuable exactly as you are.
As for anyone that might not agree, she summed up, “F–k ‘em.”

The musician says he feels fantastic and like a rockstar after losing 55 pounds. In an Instagram post from April 2023, he admitted people have been asking about his weight loss and how it affects his performances. He shared that he’s really enjoying performing and feels healthier than ever.
He explained that becoming a father in 2022 was a major motivation for his lifestyle changes. He decided to quit soda and improve his diet, wanting to be healthy for his daughter for years to come. He plans to tackle quitting smoking and cutting back on alcohol next, but says he’s taking things one step at a time.

You know, after having my son Sidney in November 2022, I definitely felt that pressure to get my body back. It honestly became my main focus – I lost 85 pounds pretty quickly after giving birth. It wasn’t about anyone else’s expectations, though. I just wanted to reclaim my body and not have to talk about it constantly. I wanted to be left alone and focus on being a mom.
She’s not suggesting everyone follow her intense method, but she’s pleased with how it worked for her. “It took a lot of effort and wasn’t enjoyable,” she admitted. “I was constantly hungry, but I’m really happy with the outcome.”

The actor, known for his role in Roseanne, has experienced many ups and downs with his health. He used to drastically lose weight for a few months, then fall back into unhealthy habits, explaining in 2017, “I’d lose 60 or 70 pounds and then reward myself with junk food.” This time, however, he’s taking a different approach, focusing on gradual changes like exercise and movement. He says he’s reached an age where staying active is essential.
He’s kept off 200 pounds by making healthy choices – he walks a lot and eats a Mediterranean diet filled with fish, vegetables, and nuts. He told Men’s Health it requires ongoing effort, but he considers it a worthwhile commitment.

Following a type 2 diabetes diagnosis and the loss of his father and brother to heart attacks, the host of The Price Is Right decided to improve his diet and focus on healthy eating.
He told Entertainment Tonight his secret to staying in shape was cutting out all carbohydrates. He explained that he avoids everything from bread and pizza to corn and beans, and even limits himself to egg whites or Greek yogurt with a small amount of fruit for breakfast. He admitted to occasionally indulging, but generally sticks to a completely carb-free diet, not even allowing a single cracker.
And to wash it all down, “I don’t drink anything but water,” he said. “No coffee, no tea, no soda.”

Losing a significant amount of weight – an incredible 440 pounds – has opened up a world of new experiences for the star of 1000-lb Sisters. Her TLC show has captured these milestones, including her first time flying, being able to comfortably use a seatbelt on a plane and ride in the front seat of a car, enjoying a hot air balloon ride, and experiencing the attractions at Disney World.
In a recent TikTok video, Slaton shared how much it means to her to be able to buckle her seatbelt without needing an extension. She explained that it’s a simple thing many people don’t think about, but she hadn’t been able to do it for years, making it a significant achievement for her.
I’m really proud of what I’ve accomplished,” the reality star explained. “I’ve worked hard to lose the weight and now I’m finally enjoying life to the fullest. It feels good to be able to say that.

The former Vanderpump Rules star is focusing on health and wellness. She’s back on the Jenny Craig plan and hoping to see positive changes, but her priority is being a good role model for her son. She told TopMob News in February that while losing weight would be great, it’s more important to show healthy habits to her and Jax Taylor’s son, Cruz.
The future star of The Valley explained, “I really want to model a healthy lifestyle for him. Exercise is a huge part of my well-being, both physically and mentally, and I believe starting good habits is really important.”

All her hard work and dedication to strength training has clearly paid off for the musician, resulting in a noticeable transformation.
In 2023, the star shared with People magazine how far they’ve come. They explained that staying fit is now simply a part of who they are, thanks to consistent effort and a commitment to their well-being.
She’s been working incredibly hard, and mentioned she might start offering intense fitness classes, which she jokingly called ‘Hottie Bootcamp.’ She described one workout as a challenging combination of exercises like deadlifts, jump rope, lunges, and mountain climbers. In a video, she playfully said the workout was extremely difficult, but added that it was helping to build strong legs.

When the pandemic began in March 2020, just a few months after the actress had her first daughter, Atlas, she admitted to feeling incredibly unmotivated. She told TopMob News that with everything suddenly stopping, she just decided to let go of trying.
She abandoned her workout routine and healthy eating habits, falling into a pattern of unhealthy food choices throughout 2020. This took a toll on her, and she longed to feel good about her body again.
She was excited but also a little unsure when she first heard about trying Openfit’s 4 Weeks of Focus program with trainer Kelsey Heenan.
After consistently starting her days for a month with warm water and lemon, plus a 30-minute workout that mixed cardio, HIIT, and strength training, she felt completely changed. She explained her new approach to food, saying she still enjoys treats but balances them with healthier options, like adding spinach to pizza. She was surprised by how much her fitness had improved, admitting she’d never lifted heavy weights before, like 40 or 50 pounds.

The fitness influencer, who goes by Fat Girl Fed Up online, recently shared on Instagram that she didn’t reach her weight goal of under 200 pounds. Despite this, she decided to focus on her progress and still celebrate her achievements. She believes it’s important not to get discouraged by minor setbacks when working towards a healthier lifestyle.
She reminded herself that any step forward, however small, still counts as progress. Despite a tough week of effort, she was staying positive. She knew lasting change takes time – she didn’t gain weight quickly, so she wouldn’t lose it quickly either. Her motto was to just keep moving forward, regardless of the challenges.
She’s confident she can achieve her health goals. “I’m going to reach my ideal state,” she declared. “It might take a week or a year, but we’ll get there eventually. Just keep moving forward, believe in yourself, and focus on making progress, not striving for perfection.”

The Queer Eye star made significant progress with their health and fitness goals, which allowed them to pursue more challenging gymnastics routines.
In an August 2022 TikTok video showcasing their weight loss, they revealed they started working with a nutritionist in April and have since lost 35 pounds. They explained their motivation was to improve their physique for gymnastics and their career.
They did warn, though, not to expect immediate results. The author of Love That Story shared that it took three weeks of consistent effort before they noticed any difference. So, if you’re trying to change something, be prepared to work out and eat differently for about three weeks before seeing progress.

I was so excited to see her really commit to a new fitness journey before she turned 30 in 2022! She decided to completely change up her training, and I’ve been following her progress ever since.
The actor, who is married to model Barbara Palvin, shared a story on Instagram about how he used to be self-conscious about his body as a child and wore a shirt while swimming. He explained that this led him to decide in his late twenties that he wanted to transform his physique and build muscle. He jokingly referred to the post as his ‘meat head post’.
It was tough, a real grind getting through all the weight training and kettlebell work, but honestly, I’m so proud of how far I’ve come. And trust me, I’m not stopping anytime soon!

Everyone has ups and downs, and things don’t always go as planned. This became clear when the actress shared openly on Instagram in January 2024 that she had regained 13.6 kilograms after successfully reaching her goal weight of 75 kilograms in 2020.
Wilson admitted she’s been struggling to maintain her healthy habits due to a busy filming schedule. She’s previously discussed overcoming emotional eating and switching to a diet focused on protein instead of carbs, but now finds it difficult to fit in her boxing and hiking workouts.
I’ve noticed when I’m really stressed, I tend to gain weight, and honestly, it gets me down. It’s silly, I know it shouldn’t bother me, but it really does. It just makes me feel awful about myself.

Honestly, he could give up beer, I guess… though it breaks my heart a little. But the workouts? Three to four hours a day?! He told Men’s Journal about this insane P90X, kickboxing, and running routine, and it’s just…wow. The dedication! It’s almost too much to handle, but I’m living for it.
For Chris Pratt, the most challenging aspect of his 60-pound weight loss—going from his role as Andy Dwyer in Parks and Recreation to a superhero in Guardians of the Galaxy—was the massive amount of water he had to drink: one ounce for every pound he weighed.
“I was peeing all day long, every day,” he explained. “That part was a nightmare,”

Okay, so Paul Rudd was always adorable, like, a total classic. But even I did a double-take when I heard he was going to be Ant-Man! It was so unexpected, even though looking back, it totally makes sense that he would be the one to pull it off. I mean, he’s just… perfect!
Paul Rudd recalled that when he was cast in the movie, many people were surprised, reacting with something like, ‘Paul Rudd as a superhero? Is that really happening?’ He shared this with Variety magazine in 2015.
He understood his task. Like Chris Pratt preparing for an action role, he decided to dedicate himself completely – sacrificing all enjoyment for a year to get into hero shape.

After having her older children, the author of the Just Eat book returned to the South Beach diet to help her feel like herself again. She told TopMob News that the high-protein plan worked quickly. “I started the program, exercised, and immediately felt better,” she said.
Before anything else, she’s focused on enjoying the time after giving birth. Decker, a mom to Vivianne, Eric Jr., Forrest, and Denver (born February 2024), emphasizes, “New moms should not worry about losing weight. Focus on feeding your baby, bonding with your baby, and allowing your body to heal. You’ll naturally know when you’re ready to think about exercise or weight loss – don’t let those thoughts pressure you. Listen to your body and wait until you feel physically up to it.”

He’s been enjoying the results of his workouts, including a noticeable six-pack. The 90-minute training sessions and a healthier diet – focusing on lean protein, plenty of vegetables, and avoiding sugary drinks – have been key. He told People magazine that the food he’s been eating is actually very healthy.
What truly motivates him is achieving a long list of personal goals. He shared that many of these goals involve outdoor adventures—he’s determined to climb challenging rock formations in Yosemite and is working to get in shape for it. A major ambition of his is to hike the Pacific Crest Trail, a route stretching from Mexico to Canada along the American coast and back.

After giving birth to her daughter Kingsley in September 2022, the former Twilight star realized something important: her body had changed. In an Instagram post from January 2023, she shared that she was accepting that things wouldn’t be exactly as they were before, and she was learning to be comfortable with that.
If she ever feels overwhelmed, she has a coping mechanism that’s just as valuable as getting back in shape after having a baby.
She told TopMob News that looking into her daughter’s eyes – whom she calls her “sweet angel” – helps her focus on gratitude instead of being overly critical of herself. She considers this a helpful trick, because it’s easy to be self-critical no matter what you do.
