Emilie Kiser is taking a step back.
Expressing herself after the tragic loss of her 3-year-old son Trigg, and her husband Brady Kiser, the TikTok user outlined her intention to establish stronger limits on the personal details she discloses online.
In a post dated August 28th, 2021 on Instagram, Emilie, mom to baby Theodore with Brady, expressed that her journey into social media was to interact with fellow mothers and establish a supportive network. From the beginning, she’s consistently been genuine in her online presence, striving to portray her daily life truthfully while being considerate about what aspects of her life she decided to keep private.
Through the tragedy of losing her oldest son, Emilie came to realize that her online relationships often lacked appropriate boundaries, particularly in safeguarding children’s boundaries.
From hereon, I plan to set clearer limits on what I post online,” Emilie explained. “Later on, I aspire to open up more about my journey with dealing with grief, but at the moment, I only want to express my heartfelt appreciation for the love, empathy, understanding, and room you’ve given us to mourn. I am more thankful for it than words can convey.
On May 18, Trigg passed away in the hospital following an unfortunate drowning incident at his family’s home in Chandler, Arizona, which occurred about a week earlier in the pool. At the time of the accident, it was reported that Emilie was out with friends and Brady was responsible for their children, during which he momentarily lost track of their toddler.
In her post, Emilie expressed that the loss they’ve experienced is hard to put into words, and she confessed that she carries a heavy burden of guilt for not being able to do more to safeguard her son.

As Trigg’s mom, I acknowledge full responsibility,” she penned down. “I wish I had taken more measures to safeguard him. One of the toughest lessons I’ve learned is that a secure pool barrier might have prevented his tragic fate – a lesson I will forever remember and not ignore.
Twenty-six-years-old, this individual voiced their shared feelings along with Brady, expressing that they yearn for their little one all through each moment of every day.
She mentioned, “Trigg is both our dear child and closest companion.” She continued, “The radiant and heartwarming energy he infused into life was vibrant, sincere, cheerful, and unmistakable.
