Paul Teal’s memory lives on.

Nearly nine months following the actor’s passing due to cancer at the age of 35, his last TV series, “The Hunting Wives,” offered an emotional homage to him.

In the finale of the Netflix drama, a tribute appeared on-screen, saying “Remembering Paul Teal with love.

Paul, who was featured on season seven of One Tree Hill, passed away on November 15 in North Carolina following a seven-month fight against Stage 4 neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer. This was confirmed by his partner, Emilia Torello, to TMZ. During the battle with cancer, Paul also filmed The Hunting Wives. Emilia mentioned that the cast and crew provided inspiration during a challenging period in his life.

Emilia posted on Instagram after Paul’s passing, expressing her feelings: ‘Paul, to me, you were more than just a partner, you were the very essence of my soul, my impending spouse, my steadfast support, and my vision for the future.’ She continued, ‘You brought joy to my life, filling my laughter, causing butterflies in my stomach, and nurturing love within my heart. Regrettably, your time was cut short, and you fought your battle with unwavering courage.’

She remarked, “A piece of my heart faded with you. I vow to strive for happiness as relentlessly as you did to keep living each day.

After Paul’s passing, Emilia – a co-star from the series “The Hunting Wives” – has been reminiscing about their shared life. She has recently honored Paul and grieved his loss, notably during her birthday month in April.

I find it difficult to celebrate my birthday this year as it’s our first one apart,” she wrote on Instagram April 20, sharing a video of their past canoe adventure plans. “Everything feels out of place because it shouldn’t be like this without you here. It just doesn’t seem fair.

Emilia went on, expressing, “I’m missing you deeply and my love for you is beyond compare, even compared to everything else in the whole cosmos.

“You are my soul mate. My other half. My entire heart,” she wrote. “I will love you forever.”

In 2022, Emilia Torello publicly revealed her romance with Paul Teal. She posted a photo of their Halloween costumes and captioned it, “You’re the most adorable inmate I’ve ever laid eyes on.

For several years, Emilia documented her journeys worldwide alongside Paul, which included a planned visit to Paris in November 2023.

Emilia wrote of the trip, “Nearly 200,000 steps and 20 cappuccinos later…”

The couple celebrated the Christmas season with coordinating oufits and a warm beverage. 

In the sultry summer of 2023, an ex-star from “One Tree Hill” and Emilia celebrated the launch of “Barbie” with a delightful evening out together.

Emilia shared a peek into their July birthday celebration for Paul’s 35th, posting it as a charming three-part Instagram sequence. The first part documented a fun outing to the batting cages.

Part two of Paul’s 35th birthday celebration involved an August getaway in the woods. 

Emilia labeled the vacation, in her third birthday message to Paul, “Spending our weekend among the treetops.

On Nov. 17, Emiliar shared the tragic news that Paul had passed away. 

She penned, “Paul, you were more than just a partner; you were my heart’s twin, my intended spouse, my steadfast pillar, and my future hope.” He brought joy to my breath, flutters to my abdomen, and warmth to my heart. You left us prematurely, in a struggle that you faced courageously without wavering.

She went on saying, “It’s fortunate that the world got to experience any time at all with Paul Teal. Among everyone, I am the most fortunate, for I was able to claim you as mine. My love for you is eternal.
