Pizza, comedy and advice from Sarah Snook helped Jake Lacy shake off some tough material.
Peacock’s new show, All Her Fault, features Jake and Sarah as Peter and Marissa Irvine, a husband and wife uncovering hidden truths about themselves while desperately looking for their son.
The thought of a child going missing is terrifying, Jake explained to TopMob News. He said Sarah, the actress, focused on that initial fear and then channeled that emotion into portraying her character, avoiding having to actually feel the loss on set while still delivering a believable performance informed by that intense emotional state.
The Emmy-nominated actor, who has two sons with his wife Lauren Deleo, shared that he finds his work incredibly rewarding. He enjoys the creative process, collaborating with others, and getting lost in imaginative roles.
But he’s also aware that acting is pretend.
Just learn to move past it,” the former White Lotus cast member suggested. “Then, get back to your normal routine. Do whatever you need to do to release it and return to your life.”
Jake said filming was draining, both physically and emotionally. But as soon as he was done for the day, he’d head straight to the gym, grab pizza, and then relax by watching old videos of Alan Partridge.

And, as Jake mentioned, Sarah helped set the tone on the Melbourne set.
He explained that with most of the actors being American and filming taking place in Australia, many people were far from home. Despite these challenges, the atmosphere on set was positive, largely due to the lead actress, Sarah. He praised her not only as a talented and kind person, but also as a strong leader.

The strong connection between the actors—including Dakota Fanning, Michael Peña, and Abby Elliott—has been praised by critics, earning the eight-episode series positive reviews. The show is adapted from a book by Andrea Mara.
Jake expressed his amazement at how well the show has done. He explained that even when you’re confident in your work, you can’t predict whether it will be popular, and he’s very happy with the results.
As a huge fan, it’s just thrilling to see this project get so much attention and buzz! I have to give it up for Megan Gallagher, the creator – she’s brilliant. But it really feels like a total team effort; the directors, the actors, and even the editing all come together to make something special. It’s amazing to watch!

Jake expressed his surprise at how well the show has done. He explained that even when you’re confident in your work, you can’t always predict if it will be a hit, and he’s very happy with the outcome.
He said it’s always great when a project captures people’s attention, and praised creator Megan Gallagher. He emphasized that the success was due to the hard work of the directors, cast, Megan’s writing, and the editing team.

Jake plays Peter Irvine in All Her Fault, but many fans will recognize him as Pete Miller from the last season of The Office – a role that was a significant moment in his career.
He explained to TopMob that The Office was his favorite show growing up, so when he joined the cast, he felt immense pressure not to mess it up. He was careful not to improvise, and he consistently went above and beyond, arriving early and staying late, all to ensure he did a good job.
Jake admitted he was initially nervous about joining the show, but he was quickly put at ease. He said the cast and crew were incredibly welcoming, kind, and enthusiastic about having him, creating a really warm and supportive atmosphere.
He fondly remembered Jon Favreau directing an episode, calling him a legend. He explained that everyone knew it was the final season, and many people came to be a part of it, making it a really special time.
Now that you know what Jake’s been doing, let’s find out what the rest of the cast of The Office is up to now.
All Her Fault is available to stream now.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been following Ed Helms’ career closely, and it’s been fantastic to watch him thrive! After becoming a household name on The Office, he really hit his stride with the wildly popular Hangover films and the 2013 Vacation remake. Beyond those, he’s been consistently working in comedies like Family Switch, Love the Coopers, Coffee & Kareem, and Father Figures – always a welcome face! On television, he’s shown his range with roles in Rutherford Falls and as a host on True Story alongside Randall Park. And if that wasn’t enough, he’s lent his voice to fun animated projects like Agent Elvis and Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie. Personally, I admire how he balances a successful career with family life; he’s happily married to Celeste Ackelson, and they’re proud parents to a daughter.

After NBC decided against a spin-off focused on his character Dwight, Rainn Wilson went on to star in the show Backstrom. He’s also made guest appearances on several other series, including Star Trek: Discovery, Mom, Lessons in Chemistry, Dark Winds, and Utopia. Beyond acting, Wilson hosts two podcasts, Soul Boom and Metaphysical Milkshake, and has contributed to animated shows like Hitpig and Solar Opposites. He is married to Holiday Reinhorn and is a father to a son named Walter.

What has B.J. Novak been doing since The Office? He’s continued to act, appearing in shows like The Founder, The Mindy Project, The Newsroom, and even playing himself on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. Right after The Office ended, he published a book of short stories, One More Thing, which became a New York Times bestseller. He was also working on a horror film called Vengeance when production was paused due to the pandemic, but it was eventually released in 2022. More recently, he’s been in Lessons in Chemistry and Poker Face, and he remains close friends with Mindy Kaling.

He’s continued to work in television, leading Ghosted on Fox and serving as an executive producer on HBO’s The Newsroom. He’s also a filmmaker, having written and directed the comedy Song of Back and Neck and produced Lucky Hanky.
He even appeared in a memorable Super Bowl commercial in 2020, playing a character very much like Toby – trying to discourage people from taking time off work for a made-up holiday called “Super Monday.” Classic Toby!
On a personal note, Lieberstein married Janine Poreba back in 2008.

Ever wonder what Oscar Nunez has been doing since The Office? He’s stayed busy! You might recognize him from roles in shows like Baywatch, Shameless, People of Earth, Mr. Iglesias, and even Reno 911!. He’s also appeared in films such as The Proposal and The Lost City, plus family-friendly projects like Dashing Through the Snow and A Christmas Mystery. More recently, he voiced the character Chef Fernando in the animated series Firebuds.
Fans were thrilled to see Arturo Núñez revisit his role as Peacock from The Paper, a show connected to The Office. Aside from acting, Núñez is also a family man. He’s married to Ursula Whittaker and has a son named August.

Oh my gosh, what isn’t he doing?! Besides perfecting that legendary chili – seriously, Bush’s Beans actually sponsored him because it’s that good – he’s been everywhere! I’ve been tracking all his projects, of course. He was on Suits: L.A., Hand of God, Good Behavior, Life in Pieces, and even The Goldbergs! And don’t even get me started on Electric Jesus – he was amazing! He’s even done voice work for Trash Truck, which is adorable. The best part? He did a Hallmark movie, Confessions of a Christmas Letter, with Angela Kinsey from The Office! Can you believe it?! It’s a total dream come true! And when he’s not acting, he’s hosting his podcast, Off the Beat With Brian Baumgartner. Seriously, he’s a multi-talent! Oh, and he’s a family man too! He married Celeste Ackelson in 2014, and they had a little girl, Brylee, the next year. He’s just… perfect!

People always ask me what I’ve been up to since The Office, and it’s been a really fun ride! I’ve been lucky enough to work on some great shows like Night Court, All Night, Aussie Girl, and PBC, and I’ve even done a lot of voice work for animated series like Steven Universe, OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes, Summer Camp Island, and Kiff. Plus, I’ve popped up in movies like Cooties, Micro Budget, and Plan B, and I even performed with my musical comedy duo, The Lampshades. Then, in 2019, I took on a totally different challenge and competed on Dancing With the Stars – it was such a blast! I ended up placing seventh with my amazing partner, Pasha Pashkov.

Fans are curious about what Kinsey is working on now. She’s appeared in shows like Tall Girl, Haters Back Off, Fresh Off the Boat, and Never Have I Ever, which was created by her former The Office colleague, Mindy Kaling.
Kinsey has also hosted several projects, including the Disney+ show Be Our Chef and the popular podcast Office Ladies alongside her close friend and The Office costar, Jenna Fischer. She shares a daughter with her ex-partner, Warren Lieberstein (brother of Paul Lieberstein), and married Joshua Snyder in 2016.

He’s also had roles in TV series such as Ghosted, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Mr. Robot, and Killing It. Beyond live-action work, Key has lent his voice to animated projects like American Dad!, Santa Inc., and Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur.

I’ve been a huge fan of Phyllis Smith for years! Of course, everyone knows her amazing voice work as Sadness in Inside Out, but she’s done so much more. I really enjoyed her in shows like The OA and the hilarious movie Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar. And I was surprised to learn she was even in Nunsense! She’s just a really versatile and talented actress.

You might be surprised by what he’s been doing! He’s continued to act in films and shorts, including titles like Bart Bagalzby and the Garbage Genie, The Sisters Brothers, and Hero Mode, as well as the short Portland Is the New Portland.
