How Love Is Blind’s Madison Maidenberg Feels About Joe Ferrucci Drama

Madison Maidenberg is explaining what went down when Joe Ferrucci had one too many goblets in Mexico.

Certainly, the Love Is Blind season nine contestant-who shared that she has a worsening eye condition that might cause blindness while filming in the pods-said she was “very confused” by how her fiancé behaved at the cast get-together during their trip.

“Initially, I was worried about how intoxicated Joe became at the party,” Madison shared with TopMob News during a private conversation. “I understand it was a party and everyone was enjoying themselves, but seeing someone behave like that was a bit unsettling. From my point of view, we were there to strengthen our connection.”

As she explained, “I was really upset that he wasn’t acting as I expected, that he wasn’t there for me-that he wasn’t the man I had gotten to know in the pods.”

Just to recap, after Joe, 29, appeared to enjoy himself a little too much at a pool party with his co-stars, he went back to the room they shared to rest. When Madison, 28, returned to see how he was doing, their discussion quickly took a turn for the worse.

“He kept repeating his questions to me,” Madison remembered. “He wanted to know why I had changed clothes, even though I was wearing the same outfit as before.”

She added, “It was very confusing.”

And she cited “pure exhaustion at that point” as for what led to her reaction.

She expressed her frustration, saying, “I’m really bothered that I’m not feeling the same connection with people that I did during the pods.” She continued, “I don’t understand why things aren’t working out now, since I’m approaching interactions in the same way as I did then, but I’m not getting the same response in return.” She feels like her efforts aren’t being reciprocated and it’s very frustrating.

I’m still processing everything that happened with Madison and Joe, and honestly, I’m really curious to see what ultimately led to them not continuing things outside the pods. But even with that outcome, I’m amazed by how transformative Madison says the whole pod experience was for her. It truly changed her, and it’s incredible to witness.
