Millie Bobby Brown’s dog has done nothing stranger than become a big sister. 

Millie Bobby Brown and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, shared in August that they had adopted a baby girl. Brown recently revealed that their dog, Winnie, hasn’t quite adjusted to the new family member.

Millie shared on The Tonight Show on December 7th that it was a bit of a shock to her pride. She believes her daughter hasn’t quite grasped the situation yet, but her child now understands that ‘she’ is an animal.

The 21-year-old admitted that her pup is going through a “power play” with her baby girl. 

Millie explained that Winnie was giving her the silent treatment, essentially trying to make her go away. Millie responded by having serious conversations with Winnie, making it clear that she wasn’t going to be ignored and wasn’t leaving.

But the pooch has even begun acting out over the battle for attention. 

Millie recounted that her dog grabbed one of her daughter’s bath toys and ran with it upstairs. When Millie confronted her, saying she’d seen what happened, the dog peeked around the corner and gave her a defiant glare. The dog clearly knew she’d been caught and paused on the stairs, as if to say, ‘So what?’

It’s understandable that Millie’s poodle is a bit jealous – she’s been very focused on taking care of her new baby.

Millie recently shared with British Vogue how much her daughter has already changed her outlook on life. She said it’s been a wonderful experience, and she’s learned to appreciate the little things. Every day is now full of affection, giggles, and pure happiness.

And the Enola Holmes star emphasized that Jake, 23, is just as floored by their daughter. 

We share everything equally,” she said. “That’s why I’m so thankful to be with him—he’s a truly wonderful father.
