How Pink Hinted at Carey Hart Breakup 2 Months Before Separation

Pink may have been teasing a new family portrait.

Before news outlets confirmed Pink and Carey Hart were separating after twenty years of marriage, Pink may have subtly suggested they were heading for a split towards the end of 2025.

On December 31st, the 46-year-old shared on Instagram that she was facing New Year’s Eve alone in the hospital, preparing for neck surgery. She noted her family – including her children, 14-year-old Willow and 9-year-old Jameson – were away enjoying a snowboarding trip. She shares the children with her ex-partner, a 50-year-old former motorcycle racer.

Honestly, I’m thrilled to be moving on from the Year of the Snake and embracing the energy of the Horse! I’m personally making a conscious effort to leave any lingering negativity from 2025 in the past. It was a year, wasn’t it? We all experienced everything from really tough times to just plain frustrating moments. It really covered the whole emotional spectrum, and I’m ready for a fresh start!

Honestly, this past year has been a real rollercoaster for me. I’ve gone through some big changes in my relationships – said goodbye to people who meant the world to me, and welcomed some wonderful new faces into my life. It’s been a year of highs and lows, where I’ve not only achieved some long-held dreams, but also faced some pretty tough challenges.

The Grammy-winning artist stated confidently, “I believe things will improve by 2026, and I’ve made the decision to make that happen.”

She declared she was choosing happiness and letting go of pain. She would focus on positive thinking and fight against despair, embracing her true self and continuing to seek hope even through difficult times.

Pink and Carey Hart have separated before. They first met at the X Games in 2001 and got married in Costa Rica in January 2006.

Pink and Carey had a rocky start to their marriage, briefly separating in 2008 before getting back together in 2009.

Pink explained that people often ask why she and her husband reconciled after their initial split. She said they simply hadn’t finished working through their issues, and now, with their daughter Willow, their relationship will last forever.

She asked critics to refrain from negative comments and judgment.

Pink posted a cute photo on Instagram of herself and her daughter with their trumpets backstage. She captioned it, “The family that trumpets together…” – a playful take on the saying ‘like mother, like daughter’.

Honestly, I was so frustrated to see the negativity Pink was getting for a simple beach photo of her son. People were actually criticizing her because he wasn’t wearing a diaper! She rightfully called them out, saying it was bizarre and disgusting that they were focusing on his body and even bringing up circumcision. She explained she didn’t even notice he’d taken it off, like any mom would be, and she immediately deleted the photo because of the awful comments. It’s just so sad that she had to turn off her comments and walk away from all the negativity. She even sarcastically suggested they were abusing a pelican just to get a rise out of them! It really highlights how toxic social media can be and how some people seem determined to find something to criticize, no matter what.

Pink spent the day with her children on a yacht and simply captioned the photo with a heart emoji.

Wow, last night in San Antonio was incredible! We hit our 100th show on this tour, and honestly, the crowd was one of the best I’ve ever experienced. It was such a special night, I was even playfully holding my daughter Willow’s ears – it’s my way of showing just how happy I was! It truly felt like a moment to remember.

I just loved seeing this photo! It looks like the family was having a blast with an art night in Shreveport while on tour – making dreamcatchers, no less! It’s so wonderful to see them balancing life on the road with fun, creative moments. #tourlife really suits them, and it’s a dream seeing their family band thrive!
