The Royal family is in full support of King Charles III.
Following King Charles’s decision on October 30th to remove Prince Andrew’s royal titles—including his title as Prince—and ask him to leave Royal Lodge, the King has received backing from other members of the royal family, notably Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Nearly two weeks ago, Andrew said he would stop using his royal titles, like Duke of York. While many thought he’d still be called “Prince” as a son of Queen Elizabeth II, the King has now confirmed he’ll officially be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.
Prince Andrew has lost all of his royal titles, including Prince, Duke of York, Earl of Inverness, and Baron Killyleagh. He will also no longer be addressed as “His Royal Highness.” Additionally, he’s been stripped of his honors as a member of the Order of the Garter and a Knight Grand Cross of the Victorian Order.
Both Andrew and his former wife, Sarah Ferguson, have lost their royal titles. However, their daughters, Princess Beatrice, 37, and Princess Eugenie, 35, will keep their titles and be known as ‘Her Royal Highness’.
Prince William recently showed his support for his father, the King, by attending an official event with him. The event, held at the Natural History Museum in London on October 9th, focused on discussions about climate change with advocates and government leaders. William, a father to Prince George (12), Princess Charlotte (10), and Prince Louis (7) with Kate, has been publicly supportive of his father’s recent actions.

Prince William recently shared how challenging the past year has been for his family, following the cancer diagnoses of both his father, King Charles, and Kate, the Princess of Wales. Kate announced she was in remission in January, and while the King said in July he’s feeling much better, he’s still receiving treatment.
William shared on the October 3rd episode of Apple TV+’s The Reluctant Traveler that 2024 was the most challenging year of his life. He added that life often presents difficulties to help us grow and that overcoming those challenges shapes who we become.

Following Prince Andrew’s decision to step down from using his Duke of York title, King Charles III announced further changes: Prince Andrew will also lose his home at Royal Lodge and no longer be known as a Prince.
Buckingham Palace announced today that Prince Andrew will no longer use his royal titles, including ‘His Royal Highness.’ He will now be known simply as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.

Prince Andrew, the younger brother of King Charles III, has announced he will stop using the title Duke of York. This decision comes because of ongoing public concern about his relationship with the late Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender.
After talking with The King and my family, I’ve decided the ongoing accusations against me are taking attention away from the important work of His Majesty and the Royal Family,” Prince Andrew said in a statement. “As I’ve always done, I’m prioritizing my family and country. I stand by my decision from five years ago to step back from public duties.”
Andrew stated that, with the King’s approval, he was taking a further step and would give up his royal title and honors. He reaffirmed that he strongly denied the allegations made against him.

I was so delighted to see the King and Prince of Wales at the Countdown to COP30 event last October! It was wonderful to witness their support for climate action at London’s beautiful Natural History Museum. It really highlighted the importance of the upcoming COP30 talks.
The couple took photos outside the museum and then went inside to talk with government officials and activists focused on fighting climate change. This event happened before the COP30 World Leaders Summit in Belém, Brazil, in November, which Prince William will attend in place of his father.

After reports surfaced this weekend about the Duchess of York’s communication with Jeffrey Epstein, Julia’s House has decided it’s no longer appropriate for her to continue her role as a patron of the charity. The charity has informed the Duchess of this decision and expressed gratitude for her previous contributions, according to The Guardian.
A representative for Ferguson stated the email was sent following a threat made by Epstein.

He doesn’t foresee returning to the U.K. with his family anytime soon. He expressed sadness about not being able to share his British heritage with his children.
I truly believe my father holds the key to resolving this. He doesn’t even need to get directly involved, honestly. Just letting the people who do know what they’re doing take the lead and continue their work could be enough to fix everything. It’s about him knowing when to step back and trust the experts, really.
After years of fighting, he’s now seeking peace and a chance to make amends. He explained, “Life is too short, and I don’t know how much time my father has left.”

More than a year after revealing his cancer diagnosis, King Charles wrote on April 29th that going through treatment has shown him the incredible kindness and strength of people.
As someone who’s walked this path myself, I can tell you that getting a cancer diagnosis is incredibly scary for patients and their families. It truly is. But I’ve also seen something amazing through it all – it really brings out the kindness and strength in people. That’s what Charles wrote in the resource booklet, and I couldn’t agree more. It highlights the best in us, even during the toughest times.
He expressed his gratitude to the healthcare workers who cared for him, and shared that the experience deepened his respect for the incredible work done by the organizations and people present, many of whom he’s known and supported for years.

Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis – were absent from the royal family’s traditional Easter service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor on April 20th.

Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, reached a legal settlement with News Group Newspapers – the publisher of both The Sun and the now-closed News of the World – on January 22nd. He had sued the organization in 2019, claiming their journalists and investigators illegally obtained information about the royal family.
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been following this story closely, and it’s significant to see accountability taken. Basically, the company has agreed to pay a considerable amount in damages to Prince Harry and has issued a complete and sincere apology. They’ve also publicly acknowledged the incredibly invasive media coverage he – and, importantly, his mother, Princess Diana – endured, and the serious impact it had on their private lives. It’s a big step towards recognizing the harm caused by intrusive reporting.
