Swizz Beatz is soaring to new heights.
The music producer surprised everyone by leaving the recording studio to pursue a new passion: designing an airplane with Qatar Airways.
Rapper Swizz (born Kasseem Daoud Dean) has made history as the first musician to design a plane. He recently unveiled a bold red and black aircraft at Art Basel Paris on October 22nd, taking inspiration from the Formula 1 Grand Prix.
As a design enthusiast, I’m loving the look of this aircraft! It really makes a statement with a rich burgundy chrome at the front, flowing into sleek black and silver stripes along the body. And to top it all off, the bright white wings and tail perfectly balance the bold color scheme – it’s a stunning combination, honestly.
The new aircraft will be shown to the public for the first time with a low-altitude flyover at the Formula 1 race in Doha, Qatar on October 26th, and will be featured at other events through 2026.
So, how did Swizz Beatz and the Dean Collection – which he started with his wife, Alicia Keys, back in 2014 – decide on the plane’s design?
According to a recent press release, the vehicle’s striking exterior design reflects the artistic style of Swizz Beatz, known for his dynamic rhythm. The interior was custom-built to feel like a luxurious private jet – sleek, uncluttered, and completely enveloping. The design process started with Swizz Beatz’s initial sketches and drawings, which aimed to capture both movement and feeling through the vehicle’s lines.
The collaboration with Qatar is more than just a cosmetic makeover of an aircraft. Together with Qatar Airways, the Dean Collection will showcase 100 of the year’s most notable figures – spanning fields like art, design, fashion, music, and sports – in a special Qatar catalog.

The airline is launching “Creative 100,” a new entertainment program for passengers. It will feature a selection of movies, interviews, podcasts, and city guides to enjoy with onboard snacks. Initial contributors include DJ Black Coffee, Olympic fencer Miles Chamley-Watson, fashion designer Yoon Ahn, and Flavio Manzoni, the Chief Design Officer at Ferrari.
According to Swizz, 47, they are creating a platform to highlight and share the work of today’s most inspiring artists. He explained that for travelers, this means each trip will be more than just getting from one place to another – it’ll be a chance to connect with creativity, culture, and new ideas.

Nev Schulman, the host of Catfish, got his real estate license in New York. In September 2025, he announced he was starting a career as a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Warburg, just like his father who has been a broker there for many years.

As a longtime follower, it’s been tough watching Kate Gosselin deal with the fallout from her divorce. She’s talked a lot about how much money she’s spent on legal fees fighting with Jon, which is understandable. But it seems like she’s really found some stability and happiness going back to work as a nurse, and that’s great to see!
In an August 2025 TikTok, Kate, a registered nurse working in pediatric home health, explained her approach to visiting patients. She currently works with one family, and because the children already know her name and a little about her, they feel comfortable when she arrives. She believes they likely recognize her before she even enters the house.
What she knows, though, is that helping others is quite fulfilling.
Kate shared that the job has been incredibly fulfilling and enjoyable. She explained that it allows families with a child needing significant medical care to have time for their other children and personal needs.

Drew Barrymore has always been a dedicated worker. Even now, hosting The Drew Barrymore Show, she maintains a strong work ethic. This dedication started early – when she was just 14 and legally independent from her mother, Jaid Barrymore, she had to work hard to support herself.
The actress explained in her 2015 memoir, Wildflower, that she needed a job near where she and her friend were renting because she didn’t have a driver’s license. She knew her friend worked at a coffee shop in the area, so it seemed like a convenient option.
She described the early 1990s as a time when coffeehouses were the popular gathering spots, recalling her work at a trendy Los Angeles place called the Living Room. She remembered crowds spilling out onto the street every night. However, she admitted she wasn’t a particularly good employee, or good at much of anything, really. At that point in her life, she’d only had experience as an actress and living a somewhat chaotic lifestyle.
She served up the tea on one tense experience in her book.
My boss, who had taken a chance on me because I was a former child actor trying something new, was understanding of my mistakes, but also clearly frustrated. I remember he came in while I was washing dishes and snapped at me, ‘Don’t use the scrubbing side of the brush! You’re scratching the pastry cases and making them cloudy, so customers can’t see what’s inside!’

Leah Kateb, who appeared on Love Island USA, currently works in a corporate role. She’s the Chief Creative Officer at Skylar, a fragrance company, and is helping to revitalize the brand.

He described it as mostly a fun hobby. Having a regular life and friends outside of Stranger Things has helped him stay balanced and down-to-earth.

Erik von Detten was a teen heartthrob in the late 90s and early 2000s, starring in movies like Escape to Witch Mountain, Brink!, and The Princess Diaries. After a final acting role – a voice part in Toy Story 3 in 2010 – he switched careers and began working in finance.
Around the same time my acting work began to decrease in my early 20s, I started working with a finance company at age 25. I’ve been there ever since, and I’ve now moved into a management role. It’s been a great career path for me,” von Detten explained in a 2021 interview with TopMob.

Ethan Craft serving as your real estate agent? That’s what dreams are made of!
Clayton Snyder, who played a popular character on Lizzie McGuire, decided not to continue acting after the show finished. He preferred to concentrate on playing water polo and eventually competed for Pepperdine University in California.
In a 2022 interview with TopMob News, Snyder said he was actually relieved when the show ended. He explained he was looking forward to starting high school and seeing what the future held, feeling like a weight had been lifted.
These days, Snyder works in real estate in Los Angeles, but people still sometimes mention his time as a child actor.
He explained he hopes clients choose him because of his skills and experience, and he enjoys it when they recognize him from other work – but it’s important to him that his expertise is the primary reason they hire him. He’s had clients realize who he is mid-search and express their excitement, but he wants to be valued for his professional abilities, not just his public profile.

She expressed hope to one day provide the same level of care as the dedicated healthcare workers currently on the front lines, as she prepared to join them.

So long, Truffle Shuffle, hello, habeus corpus.
Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe this! Jeff Cohen – Chunk from The Goonies, my absolute favorite movie EVER – totally gave up acting! Can you imagine?! But it gets even cooler – he became a lawyer! Seriously, an entertainment lawyer in LA! It’s like the most perfect plot twist ever. He went from saving Mikey’s treasure to, like, protecting people’s creative work! I’m so proud of him!

After playing the serious character Duncan Kane on the TV show Veronica Mars for one season, Teddy Dunn went on to become a lawyer. He worked as an Assistant United States Attorney in Washington, D.C.
