If you’ve connected your Epic Games account with your game, feel free to extend invitations to other players from the same platform. If you wish to play with individuals on different platforms, make sure to link those accounts as well before sending out invites.

If your friends play games through Steam and you want to join them, remember that they will also need to connect an Epic Games account. This might seem counterintuitive, but it’s necessary for crossplay functionality.

After connecting your Epic Games account, don’t forget to activate the Crossplay function. If this setting is off, you’ll only be able to engage in games with users on the same platform as yourself.

Afterwards, locate and open the Epic Online Services (EOS) interface. If you’re unsure where it is, navigate to your primary menu and look at the lower right corner of your screen. The command to “Open EOS Overlay” should be visible in that area.
