In Battlefield 6, players from different systems can join forces since it offers Crossplay support. So if you’re playing on PC and your friends are on PlayStation, don’t worry! You can easily invite them by using the universal EA Connect ID. It’s quite straightforward; just follow these steps to play together. However, navigating the game’s menus might require some patience due to their complexity – we’ll guide you through using this feature in detail.
How To Add Crossplay Friends | Battlefield 6

To get started, locate the EA Connect option within the main menu of the game. It’s situated at the far right side of the screen and is signified by an icon depicting a pair of people. If you’re using a PC, simply click on it. For those using a PlayStation controller, press R2, while Xbox users should press RT to open it.

After that, head over to the Player Search section within my EA Connect menu. There, I’ll type in my friend’s name into the search box. If possible, I recommend using their EA ID, but if not, their platform-specific username should do the trick too.

In case they forget their EA ID, they can find it on the same menu, towards the right side, which was illustrated earlier for reference. Provide instructions to locate it if necessary.

To add a friend from the search results, simply move your cursor over their name and select “Add Friend”. If you’re using a controller, use the d-pad to highlight their name, then press X (for PlayStation) or A (for Xbox). Once requested, they can accept the request if they recognize you as a genuine friend.

In other words, keep in mind that any Friend Requests you either send or receive will show up in the “Friend Requests” section within the EA Connect menu. From there, you can choose to accept, decline, or withdraw these requests.
