How to buy the new Royal Mint 100 Years of Winnie the Pooh coin in the UK today

Today marks 100 years of Winnie the Pooh and the Hundred Acre Wood with the launch of a special coin collection from the Royal Mint.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of A.A. Milne’s beloved Winnie-the-Pooh, and to celebrate, both that book and its sequel, The House at Pooh Corner, will be honored as part of the Royal Mint’s special Limited Editions series.

To celebrate the anniversary, three special coins have been created. One features Pooh Bear with flowers, another shows Pooh and Christopher Robin together, and the third depicts Pooh Bear with his friends Tigger and Eeyore.

The first collectible coin, featuring Pooh Bear with flowers and called the Kindness Coin, is available for purchase starting today, February 17th. The other two coins in the series will be released in April and June of 2026. If you purchase the complete three-coin set now, you’ll only pay for the first coin immediately, with the remaining two coins charged at a later date when they are released.

This book series is now part of a collection that includes other famous stories like Harry Potter and Mary Poppins. Here’s a quick overview.
