In Where Winds Meet, you can create a truly unique martial arts master with a detailed character creator. The game offers tons of ways to customize your character’s appearance, including hairstyles, colors, makeup, and outfits.

What’s really great is that you can customize your character in Where Winds Meet even after you’ve created them. Simple changes like hair and clothing are free, but if you want a complete makeover, you’ll need a somewhat rare item.

How to Change Your Appearance in Where Winds Meet

Okay, so to change how my character looks, I first open the game’s menu – usually by hitting Escape, Start, or that little button up in the corner. Then, I go to the ‘Character’ section and click on ‘Appearance’. That’s where all the fun stuff for customizing my character is!

The Appearance menu lets you customize almost everything about how your character looks and behaves. You can change things like their hair, clothing, how abilities look, mounts, and even their stance when they’re not doing anything. Take some time to browse through the different sections, and you’ll be able to find exactly what you want.

You can unlock new hairstyles, outfits, and makeup in Where Winds Meet by playing the game, shopping for them, or getting them through lucky draws. Because it’s a big game, you’ll find lots of options simply by playing!

Can You Alter Your Character’s Appearance in Where Winds Meet?

To change how your character looks, you’ll need a Water Lady Script. You can find it in your bag under the Items section. You can also access the appearance change option by going to the Appearance menu and clicking the Appearance button located at the bottom-left of the screen, below your weapons.

Major changes to your character’s appearance require one Water Lady Script. Simple adjustments like makeup or hairstyle are free.

How to Change Hair Color in Where Winds Meet

To change your hairstyle’s color, start by going to the Appearance menu and then selecting the Workshop. Choose the Dye option, and then pick the hairstyle you want to color. Next, select one of the available, empty dye slots for that hairstyle. You can then choose a color – you have two options to customize your look.

  • Basic Hair Dye lets you choose from a spectrum of dull, muted colors.
  • Advanced Hair Dye lets you choose from the full range of colors.

If you want to dye your hair a darker shade, you only need Inkshade Hair Dye. For the full range of colors and brighter shades, you’ll need Timeless Hairdye. As you might expect, Timeless Hairdye is harder to obtain. Both dyes are available through the WWM gacha banners, but Timeless Hairdye is rarer.

How to Dye Outfits in Where Winds Meet

You can also change the color of your clothes at the Workshop. Instead of choosing a hairstyle to dye, select the outfit you want to customize. Similar to hair dyeing, you can use Softweave Dye Powder for subtle colors, or Rosycloud Dye Powder – which is harder to find and costs more – for brighter, more vibrant shades.

You can save your color plans even if you don’t currently have all the dyes needed. This makes it simple to use those same colors later on.

Can You Change Genders in Where Winds Meet?

You can change your character’s appearance and body type using a Transformation Pill. These pills cost 1280 Echo Beads, which you can purchase with real money in the in-game shop. You can use as many as you want, but they are fairly expensive.
