Where To Find The Sick Goose

If you head to the Moonveil Mountains in Qinghe – north of Heaven’s Pier and east of the Blissful Retreat – you’ll see a group of young geese by the river. Near the bridge, you’ll find a goose that’s clearly unwell, resting on the rocks. You’ll be able to help heal it when you get closer.

Try using your Wind Sense to see how the goose is doing and try to heal it. Be aware that healing it effectively requires a high level of mastery. However, if you’re trying to earn the Goose Slayer achievement, don’t worry about needing a high mastery level – it actually helps!

How To Spawn The Demon Goose Boss

To unlock this achievement, you actually need to let the goose get worse, not better. The easiest way to do that is to simply skip through each healing attempt without trying to fix anything. Don’t worry about getting the correct medicine or fighting off illnesses – just let everything run its course, and the healing will fail as intended.

If your healing attempt doesn’t work, you’ll have very little time to react. The demon goose will appear right away, so you’ll need to start running immediately.

How To Beat The Demon Goose Boss

Okay, so this demon goose is tough. It’s super fast and just keeps coming at you with attacks! Honestly, the best thing to do is just focus on blocking its attacks over and over again until you get a chance to breathe. Trying to run away only buys you a tiny bit of time, it’s not a real solution. You really have to learn its patterns and block, block, block!

You can beat the boss in one of two ways: with skill and effort, or by taking an easier path. We suggest the easier route, but the challenging method is available for players seeking a greater test.

Demon Goose Boss Strategy

    The Easy Way

    Attract the demon goose near the water, then use your Tai Chi skills to lift it and toss it into the river. This will instantly defeat the goose, unlocking the Goose Slayer achievement.

    The Hard Way

    To win against the Demon Goose, make sure you have strong, upgraded equipment and are skilled in martial arts. We suggest using flaming arrows to set it ablaze, then keeping your distance with ranged attacks. Be careful though – other geese will come to its aid! No matter how powerful you are, don’t underestimate a large group of geese; they can be surprisingly dangerous.

    Retreat over the bridge or climb the rocks to get away if the situation becomes too much.

Don’t worry about the sick goose in Qinghe! Even if something happens to it, it will reappear after a few hours, allowing you to finish the quest. You can always return and heal it later.
