How to Get Adamantite & Thorium
Okay, so once you’re done with copper and iron in Hytale, you’ll want to start looking for Adamantite and Thorium. Honestly, I’d suggest going for Thorium first. Adamantite is found in a really tough area, so it’s better to be prepared before you try to get that one!
Thorium Ore Locations
This ore is mainly found in the Desert but there are some extra ways of obtaining it too!
Thorium Ore Location #1
This ore is most common in the Desert area, particularly in Howling Sands. Look for it near mountains and hills within the Desert – you’ll find more as you climb higher.
You’ll find the most thorium by digging underground in these hilly areas. We suggest starting by searching the hills themselves. If you find thorium there, dig in the ground nearby – you should find a lot!
You can also find Thorium in decent amounts in the caves around the hills as well.
Thorium Ore Location #2
You can also find a lot of Thorium ore in the Devastated Lands, a dark, lava-filled island located on the right side of your map.
You’ll find Skeletons in this area, and defeating them is a good way to get Thorium Ore. Once you’re further into the game, they become a reliable source for farming Thorium.
Adamantite Ore Location
You can find Adamantite Ore most often in the Devastated Lands or Lava biomes. To mine it, you’ll need at least an Iron Pickaxe.
You can find a good amount of resources on the surface, especially in the purple and maroon areas of the map. Caves also contain resources, but be careful – they can be tricky to get around.

Okay, so that’s pretty much everything about getting Adamantite and Thorium in Hytale! Trust me, you’ll want to grab both of these ores ASAP. A ton of the really good tools and armor need them to craft. Also, keep an eye out – players are still finding new places with big ore veins!
