If you’ve noticed players with BlackAgumon and BlackGabumon in Digimon Story Time Stranger, you’re probably curious how they obtained them. These special Digimon were initially available as a bonus for pre-ordering the game, but don’t worry! You can still get them by buying the Pre-Order Bonus Pack DLC on Steam for just 3.99$ USD.
How to Unlock BlackAgumon & BlackGabumon in Digimon Story Time Stranger
If you pre-ordered Digimon Story Time Stranger, the Pre-Order Bonus Pack is already yours – you don’t need to buy it separately. Simply claim the items within the game.
If you didn’t pre-order, that’s okay! You can still obtain both Digimon by buying and installing the downloadable content (DLC).
Once you have access to the pack:
- Open the in-game menu and open the Item menu.

2. Scroll to the far right to find the Item Packs tab.

3. Open the Pre-Order Bonus Pack you received from the DLC.
Okay, so once I did that, BlackAgumon and BlackGabumon just popped up in my Digimon list. Now I can use them in battles and evolve them just like all my other Digimon – pretty cool, right?

BlackAgumon & BlackGabumon Models and Attacks
These Digimon have a sleeker, more mature look compared to their usual forms, and they come with unique attack animations and victory poses that fans who played Digimon World: Next Order will remember.
- BlackAgumon’s Special Attack: Spitfire Blast (similar to Pepper Breath)

- BlackGabumon’s Special Attack: Little Horn

Their animations are smooth and nostalgic, making them a great addition to any tamer’s collection.
Are They Worth Getting?
Seriously, if you’re like me and collect these figures, or you really dig their cool, darker look, or even if you just grew up loving Agumon and Gabumon, you *need* to get BlackAgumon and BlackGabumon. They’re totally essential for any fan!
They also perform well in the early and mid-game, especially if you’re building a Virus-type team.
Simply put: To unlock BlackAgumon and BlackGabumon in Digimon Story Time Stranger, buy the Pre-Order Bonus Pack DLC on Steam.
