
British fans of women’s cricket have a lot to look forward to! England and Wales will be hosting the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup for the very first time in 2026.
The T20 World Cup will be a 24-day tournament featuring 33 matches played at seven different locations across the UK. The first game is scheduled for June 12th at Edgbaston in Birmingham, and the tournament will conclude with the final match at the famous Lord’s Cricket Ground on July 5th.
A total of 12 teams will be facing off against each other in this historic moment in women’s sport.

The World Cup will take place from 12th June until 5th July.
Matches will also be held at several other grounds, including The Oval in London, Headingley in Leeds, Old Trafford in Manchester, the Utilita Bowl in Southampton, and the Bristol County Ground in Bristol.
