Performing a “Nose Grind Around the Horn” is one of the challenges for the Canada level in Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 and 4. To complete this challenge, you need to execute a Nose Grind at a designated spot, but the tricky part is understanding what the game means by “around the horn.” This guide will help clarify that!
How to Nose Grind Around the Horn in Canada | Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4
Previously discussed, “around the horn” is a particular location within the Canada stage. To reach this place effortlessly, just dive into the water underneath the boardwalk – yes, it’s that simple! And guess what? You can find this exact spot right behind you at the very beginning of the level.
Should you leap into the water, you’ll reappear at the peak of the boardwalk all over again. Upon your resurgence, there will be some handrails directly in front of you. Jump onto these and then simultaneously press up + Triangle (on PlayStation) or Y (on Xbox) to initiate a Nose Grind on those rails.
Pay attention, there’s a tiny space between the initial rails and the ones following. Remember to jump and perform another Nose Grind input to progress onto the subsequent part of the rails!
As soon as you initiate the second series of rails, you’ll find yourself traversing a gap on the boardwalk, thanks to the rail support. If you can successfully perform a Nose Grind throughout this segment, you’ll encounter an opportunity to execute the Around The Horn trick, much like in the depicted example.
After mastering it, all that’s left is for you to dismount gracefully by leaping off and touching the ground to conclude the stunt. However, remember to stick the landing; if you should fall or misjudge your landing, not only will the trick fail, but so will the challenge.
