How to start GTA Online’s new Michael mission: Full list of chapters

GTA 6 is still a ways off, but the recent Michael missions added to GTA Online should give players something to do in the meantime.

The recent ‘A Safehouse in the Hills’ update added new chapters, but players are finding it difficult to figure out how to begin Michael’s storyline.

How to start GTA Online’s new Michael mission: Full list of chapters to complete

To begin the new Michael mission in GTA Online, you need to finish all five of Avi’s KnoWay Out missions and own a mansion through Prix Luxury Real Estate.

The five KnoWay Out missions you need to complete are:

  1. Negative Press
  2. Inside Job
  3. Tunnel Vision
  4. Trash Talking
  5. A Clean Break

After finishing the ‘A Clean Break’ quest, you’ll need to purchase a mansion from Prix Luxury Real Estate. This will make your character and Michael neighbors, and that’s how you’ll initially encounter him.

Following all of this, you’ll be able to begin Michael’s mission – Home Sweet Home.

Hop in your car and start driving, and wait for Avi to call. It might take a while, so be patient!

Once you’ve finished the phone call, look at your map for a van symbol – that shows where Avi is. Start driving towards it, and you’ll receive a warning that you’re entering a dangerous area along the way.

Head back to your mansion, and your AI assistant will let you know that someone has broken in.

Get in there, see them off and Michael’s mission will officially begin.
