As you embark on Soulframe, a dense mist will veil the game map, concealing most details. Currently, you might find yourself at a loss for direction, making the map irrelevant in your journey. However, by lifting the ‘fog of war’ as you progress, the map will gradually become clearer and more useful.
How to uncover the map – Soulframe

In Soulframe, to reveal the map, you’ll have to locate and engage with the distinctive World Trees scattered across the terrain. At present, there are 15 such trees, but additional ones might appear during the Preludes. These trees are easily recognizable due to their twisted, almost decayed appearance compared to the surrounding forest.
Once you locate one, you’ll notice a big pole jutting out of it, ready for your grasp. Pulling out this pole will illuminate a small region surrounding the tree, allowing you to proceed to the next one. Eliminating all the trees in this manner will eventually dispel the fog from the entire map.

As a gamer exploring this immersive world, take note: The whereabouts of the World Trees are subtly marked on the map before you by tiny tree icons. Here’s the catch – no speedy teleportation is an option here, and it seems like that won’t change throughout our adventure, though we might get mounts down the line. For now, strap on your boots and start walking towards these mystical locations.
When you first dive into this game, resist the urge to rush headlong into the woods. The shadows there harbor things best left undisturbed until you’ve gained a few levels under your belt. Good luck, fellow adventurer!
