Where to Get Celestial Seize in Where Winds Meet

You’ve earned this ability by finishing the Foul Play Exploration Quest in Heaven’s Pier. It’s a quick and simple quest—it shouldn’t take more than a minute to complete. While exploring the village, you’ll meet a man named Hu Wei, who claims to be a champion at drinking games. However, if you talk to Qiu Yuehai nearby, he’ll reveal that Hu Wei is actually a cheater.

Qiu Yuehai suggests you don’t confront Hu Wei directly. Instead, he wants you to steal the scammer’s Nullifying Pills. He’ll teach you a skill called Celestial Seize, which lets you grab the vial from a distance. This skill will automatically be assigned to your first skill slot, and you can use it by pressing the skill button and then selecting the vial of Nullifying Pills.

After getting rid of the medicine, challenge Hu Wei to a drinking contest. He’s sure to lose, and then he’ll be revealed as a cheater. The villagers will drive him out, leaving you and Qiu Yuehai with everyone else watching. Once he’s gone, you’ll be free to use Celestial Seize whenever you want.

How Does Celestial Seize Work?

Okay, so I’ve been messing around with Celestial Seize in exploration mode, and it’s pretty cool. I can use it to snag items from NPCs or grab stuff that’s way out of reach. Just a heads-up though, the pickpocketing part isn’t a guaranteed thing – it’s based on chance, so I don’t always get away with it!

Celestial Seize is a combat move that lets you disarm an enemy, then use their own weapon against them, dealing good damage. It’s a helpful attack in Where Winds Meet that works well alongside your usual weapons. The amount of damage depends on how heavy the stolen weapon is – heavier weapons deal more damage.
