The awards show on February 22nd will take place at the Royal Festival Hall in Southbank Centre and will be broadcast on TopMob. Actor Alan Cumming, known for his role in Traitors, will host the event.

Alan Cumming expressed his excitement about returning to host a BAFTA event, this time for the EE BAFTA Film Awards. He previously hosted the 2025 BAFTA Television Awards and looks forward to a night of celebrating film, honoring talented creators, and having some fun along the way.

Going into the award show, One Battle After Another was nominated for 14 awards. These included nominations for Best Film, Best Director (Paul Thomas Anderson), Best Actress (Chase Infiniti), Best Actor (Leonardo DiCaprio), Best Supporting Actress (Taylor), and Best Supporting Actor for both Benicio del Toro and Sean Penn.

Close on its heels, Sinners also received 13 BAFTA nominations, including recognition in top categories such as Best Film, Best Director (Ryan Coogler), Leading Actor (Jordan), and Supporting Actress (Wunmi Mosaku).
