As a die-hard fan of action flicks, I’m eagerly awaiting the new chapter where Bobby Odenkirk reprises his role as the trigger-happy, adrenaline-fueled Hutch. Instead of diving headfirst into danger, this time around, he’s swapping high-speed chases for a much-needed family vacation.

Indeed, things take a turn for the worse, especially with Indonesian director Timo Tjahjanto at the helm, ready to choreograph intense and gruesome action scenes that aim to surpass the iconic bus fight from the original, directed by Ilya Naishuller.

To reconnect and spend quality time together, they opt to bring their children to Wild Bill’s Majestic Midway and Waterpark – the same place where Hutch and his brother Harry vacationed as kids.

During the summer vacation, David, Hutch’s father, decides to accompany the family to Plummerville. However, much like the movie “Nobody,” the story doesn’t shy away from frequent instances of violence. When an ordinary altercation with local thugs leads Hutch into a web of town intrigue, he becomes the target of yet another crime lord.

It’s a more summery affair than the first film, so now is the time to see it in cinemas.
