How to watch the Malcolm in the Middle revival Life’s Still Unfair

Fans will be happy to hear that ‘Malcolm in the Middle’ is returning this week with a special featuring most of the show’s original cast, titled ‘Life’s Still Unfair’.

The popular TV show quickly launched Frankie Muniz to fame as its main character. However, he later decided to leave acting and instead focus on becoming a professional race car driver.

He’s back for this four-episode series, reuniting with his TV mom Jane Kaczmarek and dad Bryan Cranston, who went on to star in the hit show Breaking Bad just after Malcolm in the Middle finished.

Christopher Masterson and Justin Berfield are back as Malcolm’s brothers, Francis and Reese. However, Erik Per Sullivan, who originally played Dewey, will not be returning.

Despite a generous offer – described as a “lot of money” by Kaczmarek in a recent Guardian interview – he chose not to return to the popular role. Caleb Ellsworth-Clark (Fargo) took over the part instead.

Besides one big cast change, the new ‘Malcolm in the Middle’ revival – ‘Life’s Still Unfair’ – feels just like the original. Here’s how and where you can watch it.
