While League of Legends doesn’t require top-of-the-line hardware, HP just released a special edition Omen 16 laptop specifically designed for its fans. This limited-edition laptop was revealed today and is aimed directly at the League of Legends community.
Isn’t it stunning? I truly believe black and gold is the most beautiful color combination there is.
This laptop originally cost $1,999.99 – it’s definitely a premium model! It’s largely the same as the existing Omen 16, but with a lot of exciting upgrades. For serious League of Legends fans, it’s the perfect way to show off, and there are even hidden surprises to discover.

League of Legends players are incredibly dedicated to the game and its world, so our main goal was to create a product that truly feels like it belongs in Runeterra. We think we’ve achieved that with its stylish black and gold look, unique keyboard, and hidden details for fans to find.
This laptop comes in two configurations, both powered by an Intel Core i7-14650HX processor and 32GB of fast DDR5-5600 RAM. It also has two RAM slots, allowing you to easily add more memory if needed.
When customizing this setup, the main choices are the graphics card (GPU) and the display. You can choose between an RTX 5060 or an RTX 5070 for the GPU. For the display, you have two options: a 1920 x 1200 screen that refreshes at 165Hz, or a higher-resolution 2560 x 1600 screen with a 260Hz refresh rate. Both of these displays are more than fast enough for playing League of Legends.

HP revealed the Omen 25 gaming monitor, which will be the official display used in League of Legends and Valorant esports competitions around the world. It goes on sale in November for $419.99 and is packed with features for serious competitive gamers.
As a gamer, the thing that really grabbed me about this monitor is the super-smooth 360Hz refresh rate combined with the incredibly fast 1ms response time – it sounds amazing for competitive titles like the ones from Riot! They’ve also factory calibrated the colors, which is great, but honestly, the built-in headset stand might be the best part. It’s so handy to have a place to just hang my headset when I’m done playing.
HP and Riot Games have partnered on hardware before, most recently with the impressive Valorant-themed Omen desktop. It seems likely they’re working on even more exciting projects together.
