Rumors of a romance between Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster started around a year ago, and now the pair seem to be happily dating and supporting each other’s careers. Jackman recently shared a heartwarming photo and video on social media celebrating a “magical” performance by Foster on Broadway.

Sutton Foster recently began a residency at Café Carlyle in New York City, with her first show on November 25th. As she starts her performances, which continue through December 6th, Hugh Jackman used Instagram to publicly support her. He posted the day after her opening night:

This new residency comes about a year after Foster completed her Broadway run in Once Upon a Mattress. Before that, she appeared in the revival of Sweeney Todd, and in 2022, she starred in The Music Man with Hugh Jackman. It’s fantastic to see this Broadway star doing a residency in New York, especially considering her incredible performances on stage over the past three years.

I especially loved Jackman mentioning that this is a fantastic way to start the holidays. I’d really enjoy hearing Sutton Foster sing some show tunes and Christmas songs leading up to the holiday season.

In June, Michael Urie, a co-star with Parker in Once Upon a Mattress, expressed hope that they would one day co-star in a production of Much Ado About Nothing.
