Hulk Hogan’s Ex Linda Hogan Breaks Silence on His “Shocking” Death

Linda Hogan is reflecting on her decades-long bond with Hulk Hogan.

Four days following the death of the former professional wrestler on July 24, at the age of 71, the ex-spouse of the late WWE icon finally spoke out about his demise.

Linda, who had been married to Hulk for 26 years before their 2009 separation, expressed her shock on July 28th in the comments section of her Instagram post from July 19th, which included a vintage photo of herself and Hulk. She wrote, “None of us expected this to happen so soon! Such a big surprise. We’re all absolutely devastated. The news is hitting me very hard. I loved Hulkster more than he loved me. It hurt when he was unfaithful, but his fame made it somewhat understandable, even though it was heartbreaking.

I’ve been in tears all day, the finality of it all just leaves me speechless. It’s been years upon years that he was a constant presence in my life, even though we never spoke or met face-to-face. I first knew him when he was 28 and I was 22. Despite our physical separation, we shared a unique bond through Nick – exchanging news about life, filling the void with updates from each other’s worlds.

Linda, who is the mother of Brooke Hogan and Nick Hogan (both known for their association with a sports figure), later expressed that the family discord had left her feeling shattered or devastated.

In her words, “We remained a family,” she penned. “It’s agonizing to realize he’s no longer here. I’ve been trying to keep up my strength for Nick, but I’m fundamentally myself.

“I love you Hulkster,” Linda concluded. “You were my man. The only man for me. RIP.”

And Hulk, real name Terry Bollea, was certainly on her mind in the days leading up to his passing.

On the 19th of July, Linda shared a nostalgic tribute for Hulk on Instagram, accompanied by an old photograph of them together from many years past, captioned “Good ol’ days!

The unexpected demise of Hulk occurred just two days following the statement from his ex-manager and friend, Jimmy Hart, who claimed he was doing well. This sudden turn of events left both his family and supporters in disbelief.

The Clearwater Police Department’s team dealt with an urgent situation involving a heart attack, as confirmed by a city representative to TopMob News.

According to the police, Hulk was moved to Mortan General Hospital where it was reported that he had passed away. Later on, his superiors also verified this news to TopMob News.

“We are heartbroken,” they said in a statement. “He was such a great human being and friend.”

After hearing about Hulk’s demise, numerous individuals from the entertainment world expressed their sympathies and cherished recollections of the beloved television personality on various social networking sites.

On Instagram, on July 24th, WWE champion Ric Flair expressed his shock over the passing of his longtime friend and fellow wrestler Hulk Hogan. They had been together since they began their careers in the wrestling business. Hulk was not only an outstanding athlete and performer, but also a dear friend and loving father.

Additionally, Flair pointed out that even in a critical health situation involving his youngest son, Reid Flair, Hogan demonstrated an extraordinary level of kindness and generosity.

My friendship with you has been invaluable, Hulk,” Flair expressed. “You were there for me when I needed it most, even without being asked. You were among the first to stand by my side when I was hospitalized with a 2% chance of survival, and you prayed for me. Additionally, during Reid’s illness, you lent me money. Hulkster, there’s no one quite like you! Rest in peace, dear friend.
