Hulk Rumor Finally Gives Marvel Fans What We’ve Wanted Since The MCU’s Phase 1 (With A Dark Twist)

Okay, so Alex Perez from The Cosmic Circus just dropped another quick Q&A, and this one has me *really* excited. He’s teasing what’s next for a classic Avenger – and honestly, it’s something fans like me have been wondering about since the very beginning of the MCU, way back in Phase 1! He’s not giving much away, but it’s definitely got me thinking.

We could finally see a truly powerful and dangerous Hulk again – one who might even be capable of killing someone. While it’s unfortunate to think about, many fans have been waiting a long time to see a genuinely intimidating Hulk in a movie.

During a question and answer session, a user named BraveFire asked Perez for any updates on the Hulk/Bruce Banner in *Spider-Man: Brand New Day* and *Doomsday*. Perez replied that Hulk is now more frightening than ever, and hinted he might even kill someone. It’s exciting to hear about a potentially terrifying Hulk!

What Does This Mean For The Future Of The Hulk?

Perez stated that plans for the Hulk after the *Secret Wars* event are still being worked on. He also indicated that standalone movies featuring the Hulk or Namor (Tenoch Huerta), the *Black Panther* villain, aren’t currently in the works, responding to questions about them with a simple “not yet.”

The recent *Marvel Zombies* series gave the Hulk a huge power-up in its storyline about stopping a zombie Thanos. Although T’Challa sacrificed himself to help, his actions unintentionally put the world at risk again by shattering the Infinity Stones and releasing their immense power. In this version, Bruce Banner learned to control that power, channeling it through the Hulk like a living battery. The series finale reveals the Hulk is now the only thing holding back this dangerous force, a task that requires incredible strength.

It’s unlikely we’ll ever see a live-action Hulk as powerful as the one depicted in *Marvel Zombies*. Getting there would require significant changes and rewrites to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, many fans wouldn’t mind if they introduced a zombie-creating Scarlet Witch! After years of the Hulk being portrayed as a source of humor, it’s exciting to imagine his full potential – a version that truly embraces his strength, rage, and dangerous side.
