Hulu’s Paradise, which premiered in 2025, quickly became one of the year’s most talked-about new shows. The series, created by Dan Fogelman and starring Sterling K. Brown, Julianne Nicholson, and James Marsden, follows Secret Service agent Xavier Collins (Brown) as he investigates the death of President Bradford (Marsden). The mystery unfolds in a self-contained underground bunker in Colorado, designed to replicate a fully functioning city after a global catastrophe. However, things aren’t as they seem, and at the end of the first season, Xavier leaves the bunker to find his wife.
The second season of Paradise is here, finally revealing what lies beyond the bunker! You can start watching right now on Hulu, with the first three episodes available immediately. New episodes will be released each week, culminating in the season finale on March 30th. Season 2 has a total of eight episodes.
Season 2 of Paradise Is Already Getting Rave Reviews
Now that Xavier has left the safe, controlled environment of Paradise to explore the outside world, season two is taking the story in a new direction with fresh characters and more complex mysteries. Though changing a successful formula is risky, initial reactions suggest the show has pulled it off. The new season currently has an 86% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 22 reviews, and critics are especially praising Brown’s acting. Some reviewers are even comparing the show’s ability to evolve between seasons to that of Lost.
The biggest improvement in the second season is its expanded scope. Now that Xavier has left the central location, the story ventures out into the world, introducing exciting new characters played by Thomas Doherty, Shailene Woodley, Raymond Cham Jr., Michael McGrady, Timothy Omundson, Patrick Fishler, and Ryan Michelle Bathe. These additions promise a season filled with more danger and intriguing puzzles. Critics are already calling the new season a must-watch, which is a strong endorsement.
The first three episodes of Paradise Season 2 are now available to stream on Hulu, with new episodes being released each week.
