Instead of releasing chapters one at a time, Shueisha plans to publish several chapters of Hunter x Hunter whenever they’re finished. This new drawing of Gon is the first real update on him in a while, and it could be years before we see him again, not just until the arc finishes, but even after that, depending on the author’s plans.
