It’s disappointing that only Bandai Namco and Disney are actively supporting Sony’s PS Plus Premium subscription service, and of those two, only Disney is adding Trophy support to its games.
But the PS2 version of WALL-E has released today, with a Platinum Trophy in tow.
Okay, so there are 21 collectibles – these little gongs – to find throughout the game. Most of them you’ll get just by playing through the story and doing the side stuff, like minigames. It’s pretty straightforward!
Getting 100% completion in this game will be challenging! You’ll have to find and activate all the cheats, gather every artifact, and smash all the Buy n Large crates.
You likely won’t spend a huge amount of time finishing the game. How Long to Beat estimates a full completionist playthrough takes about eight hours, meaning earning the Platinum trophy shouldn’t take much longer, particularly if you use a guide.
We enjoyed playing some of the older THQ games, and we especially remember having fun with WALL-E, even though we played it on the PSP.
There are definitely better games Sony could be adding to this subscription service, but we’re happy to get this extra game, especially since Tekken Dark Resurrection and Time Crisis are also coming soon.
