Join the battle to save Ancient Hyrule! Take on the role of Princess Zelda, King Rauru, and other iconic characters as you strive to retrieve your homeland. Relive the epic tale of Demon King Ganondorf’s invasion, a story hinted at in The Legend of Zelda™: Tears of the Kingdom game but now brought to life!
Fight Alongside New and Familiar Heroes to Defend Hyrule From the Demon King
In this ongoing conflict, Princess Zelda is not fighting alone! Join Mineru, the Sages, and an assortment of fresh champions in the fight against Ganondorf’s troops. Merge potent Zonai Devices with your heroes’ unique talents to defeat mighty bosses and hordes of their minions.
Team up With a Friend in Two-Player Local Cooperative Play via Split-Screen or Gameshare
Team up with a friend for local, two-player cooperative play, where you can strategize by either spreading out to cover more territory as events unfold or sticking together and merging your abilities to overpower the opposition. This game supports split-screen multiplayer on a single system, or cross-system play via GameShare-meaning only one individual needs to own the game for both players to enjoy.

Tap Any The Legend of Zelda series amiibo for Extra Items
By tapping any The Legend of Zelda series amiibo toy, you can unlock in-game perks such as crafting resources and useful items to aid you in your mission to vanquish the Demon King!
To obtain extra weapons, you can utilize the saved data from either Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity or The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. This feature allows for additional weapon options in your arsenal.
Should you possess saved game data for the game ‘Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity’ on your system when you play, you’ll obtain a High Guard’s Claymore. If, instead, you have saved game data from ‘The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’, you receive a High Guard’s Sword. These weapons become available for collection once you return to the Hyrule map following completion of The Howling Tempest mission.
