As a dedicated Nintendo Switch fan, I’m thrilled to share that while we eagerly anticipate Metroid Prime 4: Beyond dropping in December, there’s another exciting title to look forward to this Fall! Namely, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, proudly developed by AAA Games Studio, is set to grace the Nintendo Switch 2 on November 6th, and it’s an exclusive treat just for us Switch 2 owners.
In the recently released trailer, we get a sneak peek at some fresh gameplay features. One of these is the use of Zonai Devices by characters, which can be employed to either blast foes away or keep them aloft with fans, or even shock them severely. Additionally, there’s Sync Strike – a dynamic move that lets two characters combine forces for an epic team-up attack with spectacular visuals and immense damage.
Besides these exciting announcements, Nintendo further disclosed the inclusion of split-screen cooperative play (a feature that decreases the frame rate) and Game Share, a function enabling up to two Nintendo Switch users to participate simultaneously in a game.
At the Tokyo Game Show 2025, scheduled from September 25th to 28th, you’ll find Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment as well. Keep an eye out for further updates straight from the event.
