Hytale – How to Get Adamantite Gear Fast

Okay, so in Hytale, Adamantite is the absolute best gear you can find. Honestly, it takes a long time to farm, even if you’re really trying to speedrun it. It’s a serious grind!

You can speed up your progress by trying to advance quickly, but it takes a large amount of Adamantite. This ore is currently the hardest to find in the game!

Nonetheless, this guide will help you get Adamantite equipment as quickly as possible.

Getting Started and Important Notes

Before you can craft Adamantite equipment, you’ll first need to build and fully upgrade both an Armorer’s Workbench and a Blacksmith’s Anvil. This takes a significant amount of materials and effort, so be prepared!

We have a complete guide available that explains all Workbench upgrades in detail. If you’re looking for step-by-step instructions on how to upgrade the Armorer’s Workbench, be sure to check it out!

You’ll also need to build a Furnace for smelting ores and a Tanning Rack to turn animal hides into leather. Luckily, you can make both of these at your Workbench.

Putting that aside, I’m only going to explain the essential steps for obtaining Adamantite Gear. This guide focuses on speed, helping you get to the best equipment as quickly as possible.

Don’t forget to upgrade your gear as you follow this guide. Better equipment is essential for defeating stronger enemies, and you’ll need to defeat some of them to get important materials.

With all of that said, though, let’s dive into how to get to Adamantite quickly!

How to Work Your Way up to Iron

Before you can do anything else, you’ll need to obtain the Iron Pickaxe. It’s essential for mining Adamantite Ore.

When you first begin, your initial aim should be to create a Stone Pickaxe and a Stone Hatchet. You can make these tools by gathering rocks and plants at the start of the game, which will provide you with the necessary Rubble, Plant Fiber, and Sticks.

Next, gather at least 4 logs and 3 stone blocks – any kind will do. Once you have those, you can build and place your first workbench.

Now’s a good time to gather extra gear like weapons and torches. You’ll need them because your next step is to explore every cave you can find!

Inside the caves, you’ll discover veins of Copper – it’s a light brown color – and Iron, which is white with orange spots. You can mine these using your Stone Pickaxe.

To craft an Iron Pickaxe, you’ll need at least 5 Iron Ore. If you’re aiming for a complete set of Iron armor, you’ll need an additional 45 Iron Ore. And depending on the weapon you want, you’ll need between 4 and 10 more Iron Ore.

To get a complete set of Iron gear, you’ll need around 60 Iron items! However, you only absolutely need the Iron pickaxe to mine Adamantite. While the Iron armor and weapons are helpful for fighting enemies, certain enemies also drop items you’ll need.

Where to Find Materials for Adamantite Gear

Once you’ve crafted an Iron Pickaxe and feel ready for a challenge, head to the Devastated Lands. Your goal is to locate the Cinder Wastes biome, which is pictured above.

You can only find Adamantite veins in this specific area – look for shiny red rocks to identify them. While not abundant on the surface, they’re usually plentiful in caves. Just be aware that exploring caves is more dangerous!

You might also occasionally discover structures in this area. These structures often contain chests, and there’s a good chance those chests will hold some Adamantite Ore.

Crafting a complete set of Adamantite armor takes 77 Adamantite Ingots. If you also want to make weapons, you’ll need between 9 and 16 additional ingots.

If you’re aiming for a complete set of equipment, collecting around 100 Adamantite Ore is a good goal. Just be aware that it will take some time, as Adamantite is quite rare, even when you know the best places to find it.

Aside from the Adamantite Ore, you’ll also need to get Heavy Leather and Cindercloth Scraps.

Heavy Leather is simpler to obtain. You can get it by hunting large animals such as Bears and Mosshorns, then processing their hides into Heavy Leather using a Tanning Rack.

Okay, so Cindercloth Scraps are a little tougher to get. You basically have to hunt down skeletons in the Devastated Lands to get them, which is why I said having some decent weapons is important! Honestly, ranged weapons are the way to go – they let you farm these safely without getting too close.

To craft the complete Adamantite armor set, you’ll need approximately 24 Heavy Leather and 20 Cindercloth Scraps. All Adamantite weapons require 3 Cindercloth Scraps and between 3 and 5 Heavy Leather.

That’s everything you need to quickly get Adamantite gear in Hytale! Remember, knowing the steps is just part of the process, so good luck with your collecting!
