I found the EASIEST way to grind most of the Black Ops 7 Endgame Camos — you don’t even have to fire a weapon!

I’m not convinced this counts as a legitimate cheese strategy, since it’s working as designed. However, I found a surprisingly fast way to unlock the special weapon skins (Camos) in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Endgame without actually needing to shoot anything.

It was a complete accident, honestly. I’m still learning the game and how the different skills work. But somehow, with one of my characters, I discovered a way to quickly defeat enemies with critical hits – even in the most difficult areas – just by sliding into them or near them.

Unlocking camouflage patterns in the Endgame isn’t as difficult as it is in Multiplayer, but you’ll still need to rack up a lot of kills with various weapons. Before you can start earning special camos, you first need to get 250 critical hits – mostly headshots, though some tougher enemies have critical hit zones in other locations.

With these abilities, you don’t need to focus on precise aiming. Simply move into enemies – slide or even run them over – and you’ll quickly defeat them. Plus, now everyone can access Endgame without finishing the main story first, letting you jump right into leveling up your character.

Just make sure you’re holding the weapon you’re trying to unlock Camos for when you do this. Keep in mind the developers might change things later, but this method works right now, so follow these steps to get it done.

You need to use Bulldozer and Daredevil skill trees

This strategy works best if you focus on the Bulldozer and Daredevil Skill Trees. As you increase your Combat Rating, you’ll unlock two powerful skills: Tackle and Slide Explosions.

Running into enemies with Tackle will knock them down, and sliding creates an explosion thanks to Slide Explosions. Using both abilities together often results in instantly defeating enemies, and frequently scores a critical hit.

Slide Explosions let you damage enemies simply by sliding *near* them – you don’t have to actually hit them. Tackle, on the other hand, is a powerful move for clearing out large groups of enemies by pushing through them as you move.

The images below show the exact skills I’m using.

I’ve personally tested this setup, even in the challenging Zone IV, and it performs well against standard enemies like Fears and Soldiers – I’ve included a quick video clip demonstrating that further down. However, it won’t instantly defeat tougher enemies – Elites or those with armor – in any zone. For instance, even in the easiest area, Zone I, it won’t be enough to take down the Cradle Champion in a single hit.

It can send out Special Enemies like Raiders in the early areas of the game. Specifically, at the Molten Gold level, you need to send out 20 of these Special Enemies. Once you do that, you’ll be able to defeat any Raiders with a single hit, and they’ll contribute to your Camo progress.

You earn progress towards weapon camouflage (Camos) with any kill – whether it’s a critical hit or not – as long as you’re holding the weapon while sliding or rushing into enemies. It’s that easy!

This strategy stops working well when you reach the Chroma Flux enemies. You need to defeat Elite enemies to progress, and this method won’t eliminate them instantly. It will cause some damage, but it’s not efficient enough to be worthwhile. For Elite enemies, a Legendary weapon and traditional combat are your best option.

You can farm enemies in Zones III and IV to get Moonstone without needing to fight special or elite enemies. I’ve discovered that with a high enough Combat Rating and the right skills, you can even finish off Zone IV enemies with a slide kill.

Grinding for Endgame Camos is easier WITHOUT an Exotic weapon in your loadout

If you’re trying to unlock weapon camos quickly, keep in mind that kills with Exotic weapons don’t contribute to the camo progress for the standard version of that weapon. You can only earn camos using weapons up to the Legendary tier. Therefore, the kills shown in the video were just to prove the technique works in Zone IV and didn’t actually unlock any camos.

While powerful Exotic weapons are great for challenging enemies, it’s best to also equip two standard weapons that you can upgrade simultaneously. You’ll likely find a second weapon randomly while exploring Avalon, but you get to choose your main weapon, giving you some control over your build.

As an analyst, I’ve found that choosing your deployment locations strategically can really speed up camo challenges. You don’t even *need* to focus on Zones III and IV, unless you’re specifically going for the Moonstone camo. With the right approach, you can often complete the requirements for both Military and Special camos in just one match.

Spend a bit of time getting levelled up first, unlock the right skills, and go absolutely ham.
