Good news for Nintendo Switch 2 owners! The stylish game The Midnight Walk is coming to the console later this month. A new trailer highlights the game’s beautiful graphics and confirms it will be released on March 26th.
I recently discovered this amazing game where you’re trying to restore light to a world that used to be full of art and creativity. Apparently, the sun vanished, causing all sorts of trouble! You play as this character called The Burnt One, and you’re joined by Potboy, who is seriously the cutest little candle ever. Together, you have to climb Moon Mountain, facing all kinds of dangers, to try and bring the light back. It’s a really cool concept!
The game focuses on unique mechanics rather than typical combat. You’ll use fire and matches to navigate challenges, and surprisingly, closing your eyes enhances your awareness of the surroundings. Visually, the game is striking, featuring characters created from 3D scans of handmade clay sculptures, offering both a beautiful and demanding gameplay experience.
We enjoyed the game when it first came out, and we expect the Switch 2 version to be just as good. Watch the trailer below – we think you’ll feel the same way!
