Industry season 4 drops electric teaser with first look at new cast – when will it air in the UK?

Okay, so I just got a first look at what’s coming in Season 4 of ‘Industry,’ and it looks intense! Harper, Yasmin, and the familiar crew are back, but we’re also meeting a whole bunch of new characters. The trailer definitely hints at some fresh drama unfolding at the investment bank.

The popular BBC and HBO series’ latest trailer introduces the new cast and hints at the exciting conflicts ahead.

I’m really enjoying watching Harper (Myha’la) thrive and seem genuinely happy with where her career is going. But things are still pretty messy for Yasmin (Marisa Abela), who’s finding it tough adjusting to married life with Sir Henry Muck (Kit Harington).

The trailer opens with Nina Simone’s “Lilac Wine” playing as Muck prepares to drive away in his classic car with Yasmin, but he’s clearly injured, with a bleeding hand.

I thought Yasmin was totally done with the finance world after season 3, but seeing her cross paths with Harper again makes me wonder if that’s really the case. It seems like things might not be so simple after all!

The latest trailer for Industry promises all the show’s signature elements: hidden affairs, intense conflicts, high-stakes power struggles, and plenty of smoking. You can expect the usual mix of secrets, drama, and tension.

HBO has revealed the new season will premiere in the US on January 11th at 9pm. A release date for the UK hasn’t been announced yet.

Viewers in Europe and elsewhere will be familiar with the release pattern: all episodes of Industry season 3 became available in October 2024, following a premiere in the US two months earlier in August. We can likely expect a similar timeframe for the new season.

The latest trailer introduces Whitney Halberstram, a new character played by Max Minghella, known for his role in The Handmaid’s Tale. For now, his connection to the show’s intense events is unclear, and we’ll learn more as the story unfolds.

Season four will also feature new cast members Kiernan Shipka, Jack Farthing, Toheeb Jimoh, Amy James-Kelly, Kal Penn, Charlie Heaton, and Claire Forlani.
