Industry season 4 release window for US confirmed by HBO – but when can we expect it in the UK?

It’s been confirmed that the show Industry won’t return until 2026, but US viewers might get to see it a little earlier than expected.

As a huge fan of ‘Industry,’ I was thrilled to hear from Casey Bloys, the head of HBO and HBO Max, that season four is now slated for January 2026! Honestly, knowing it’s just a little over a year away feels like a surprisingly short wait – I can hardly contain my excitement!

Bloys expressed his hope that the show *Industry* and its cast would gain wider recognition, noting it hasn’t yet received major awards attention in the US.

The show has found more success in the UK, where Marisa Abela won a BAFTA award for Best Actress for her performance as Yasmin.

We don’t have a confirmed UK release date for the new season yet. However, based on how previous seasons were released, we expect all episodes to become available at the same time, after they’ve finished airing in the US. This probably means they’ll be added to BBC iPlayer sometime in March or April next year.

Season four of Industry will look quite different from what viewers have seen before. The previous season ended with the closure of Pierpoint’s London office and its employees going their separate ways.

Harper was last known to be launching a fund from New York. Eric had lost his job, Yasmin was preparing to marry Sir Henry Muck, and Rishi found himself in a truly dangerous predicament.

I’m really excited about the fresh faces joining the cast this season! We’ve got some fantastic actors like Max Minghella, Kiernan Shipka, Jack Farthing, Toheeb Jimoh, Amy James-Kelly, Kal Penn, Charlie Heaton, and Claire Forlani all stepping into new roles. It definitely feels like a revitalization of the series with this new energy.

Unfortunately, Harry Lawtey, who originally played Robert Spearing, won’t be back for season 4 due to other work commitments. While his character started a new job at a psychedelic drug company at the end of last season, we won’t be seeing what happens with that storyline in the upcoming season.

Beyond that, not much is known about the new episodes.

Earlier this year, when asked about a possible return to the show, Kenny star Conor MacNeill stated that both his character and the firm of Pierpoint were effectively finished after season three. He admitted he genuinely didn’t know what the future held, describing the ending as ‘explosive’.
