Okay, so I play this game called Infinity Nikki, and it’s already gorgeous – it’s all about dressing up your character and exploring a really cool world. But get this: they’re releasing a huge update, version 2.5, specifically for the PS5 Pro, and it’s promising to make the game look even better. I’m seriously excited to see how much prettier it gets!
A new update, releasing on April 23rd and available at no cost, will improve performance and graphics on all Sony consoles, with the biggest improvements expected on the more powerful models.
A major improvement is the switch to the platform’s updated PSSR2 upscaler. This technology noticeably improves image sharpness, clarity, and how smoothly the game runs, especially in expansive environments or during action-packed fights.
The game features beautiful clothing with detailed fabric textures. The developers have improved these visuals to make them clearer and more rewarding to see when you’re creating different looks.
A New Location to Explore
Version 2.5 won’t just feature improved graphics. Developer Paperfold is also adding a new area called the Boneyard, designed to be more sophisticated and explore ideas about rebirth, fate, and the decisions we make.
Writing on the PS Blog, Global PR Manager Zexu Shi explained:
This area is peaceful and full of atmosphere, featuring landscapes formed by ancient dragon remains, crumbling ruins, and unsolved secrets. The more you explore, the more you discover about its history, revealed through the environment itself. On PS5 Pro, the enhanced graphics make this region even more captivating, particularly when traversing its large open areas or enjoying the far-off vistas.
The game will get more interesting with new dress-up features, letting players experience the region in new ways. The developers are building on what makes the game fun and unique.
You can get the new region and enhanced graphics for PlayStation 5 Pro at no cost – just update your game!
