On December 12th, Taylor Swift will release the first two episodes of a new documentary series called The End of an Era on Disney+. The series showcases her incredibly successful Eras Tour.
Taylor Swift hosted a small, private showing of the series in New York City on December 9th. Throughout the two emotional episodes, viewers – including her band, dancers, and backup singers – were visibly moved, with many reaching for tissues.
Taylor Swift arrived at The Walt Disney Company’s 7 Hudson Square Theatre, surprising the press, accompanied by her parents, Andrea and Scott Swift, and her brother, Austin.
Taylor Swift introduced her new documentary series, calling it her most personal project yet and hoping it will give fans a welcome escape. Gayle King, Robin Roberts, Hoda Kotb, and Willie Geist were also present at the event.
Taylor reiterated her feelings about the upcoming six-part documentary series, which will include appearances by Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran, Florence Welch, and her fiancé, Travis Kelce.
We wanted to cherish all the memories of this exciting and important time in our lives, so we let a film crew document our final tour and the stories that came with it,” she shared on Instagram on October 13.

Disney+ will release both the first two episodes of a new series and the concert film Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show, which was filmed in Vancouver, B.C. The film will be available on December 12th, just before Taylor Swift’s 34th birthday.
