Tom Bradyisn’t fumbling his free time in retirement. 

Indeed, the retired NFL quarterback went on a summer getaway to Japan with his children Benjamin (aged 15) and Vivian (aged 12), whom he co-parents with former spouse Gisele Bündchen. He has been sharing highlights of this incredible journey on various social media platforms.

In a YouTube video published on July 18th, it’s clear that the three friends made a trip to a sports card store in Tokyo and picked up some valuable collectibles. Notably, among their purchases, Tom decided to acquire his very own rookie card, expanding his personal collection.

The card stated that Brady possesses powerful throwing ability and is swift at delivering passes to his intended receiver. It also described him as a remarkable athlete, which was something new to me.

Following a game of swapping cards with his children, the group ventured through an engaging museum and honed their samurai abilities. Post this impromptu display of swordsmanship reminiscent of Rurouni Kenshin, Tom—father of 17-year-old son Jack with Bridget Moynahan—connected with renowned artist Takashi Murakami to share his preferred artworks. Subsequently, they dined at Tokyo’s Wagyumafia.

The Brady family created additional memories in Kyoto, mastering a few taiko drum rhythms along the way. While their video summary concluded with them playing a tune, their adventures didn’t stop there. In fact, after sharing glimpses of more destinations on Instagram, the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers player showcased additional locations they explored.

In a June 16 Instagram post, he expressed his affection for Japan by saying, “Japan, we adore you! We had such an incredible time!” The post features him and Vivian jumping on board the Labubu trend. He thanked them for their warm welcome and stunning sights, praising Japan’s rich culture that emphasizes honor, respect, and discipline. From its history to its traditions, each day brought new learning experiences, laughter, love, and appreciation – for the food, shops, people, animals, and everything in between!

Absolutely, the family had quite an assortment of fun activities, ranging from attending a sumo wrestling event to exploring the zoo.

He went on to say, “These journeys mold us,” explaining that they serve as a reminder of the vast amount we can learn when we break free from our daily habits and explore the world side by side. Thank you very much! (Arigato gozaimasu!)

2017’s Super Bowl win was terrific, but nothing beats the joy of sharing that moment on the field with my daughter – a truly invaluable experience.

In the year 2017, Vivian affectionately kissed her father on the cheek, wishing him good luck as he prepared to leave for a match. Truly, they make such an adorable pair.

As an over-the-moon admirer, I must say that the reach of my idol, Tom, knows no boundaries, yet it’s his very own brood who take the cake as the most ardent supporters. The sight of those “Brady” jerseys on his kids never fails to warm my heart and strengthens my admiration for them as a tight-knit family.

I find that the joy of decorating our Christmas tree doubles when my cherished daughter joins me in the task, and it’s even more delightful when she takes on the role of a fairy.

The soccer player enjoys spending his free time playing at the beach with his delightful kids, and we wholeheartedly agree with this pastime.
