Invincible Season 4 Confirms A Major Hero’s Big Role for the Viltrumite War

I’m so hyped! The first trailer for Invincible Season 4 just dropped, and it looks like we’re getting a major new hero to help with the upcoming Viltrumite War! Season 3 ended with that insane battle between Mark and Conquest, barely holding off the full Viltrumite invasion. But here’s the really exciting part: it turns out the Viltrumite Empire isn’t as strong as we thought, which means now’s the time to take the fight to them! I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds.

Season 4 of Invincible will continue the story immediately after the events of Season 3, focusing on a large-scale war between Mark, Nolan, and the Viltrumite Empire. With Conquest’s defeat, Grand Regent Thragg will begin his plans, which involves gathering a team of heroes to fight the Viltrumites – and that team will include the debut of Tech Jacket.

Tech Jacket to Debut in Invincible Season 4

Tech Jacket, created by Robert Kirkman and E.J. Su, didn’t have as popular a comic book run as Invincible, but he’s a compelling character. He appeared in key moments of the Invincible story, including the ‘Invincible War’ (and even as an animated cameo in season three!), and was known as one of the few heroes capable of fighting – and surviving – against the powerful Viltrumites. This is why Allen and Nolan will enlist him to help Earth fight the Viltrumites in the upcoming fourth season.

Allen and Nolan are looking for powerful allies who can withstand battles with the Viltrumites and survive the harshness of space. Tech Jacket becomes a key player in this search, joining Allen and Nolan as they travel through space to find both new allies and powerful weapons to use against Thragg. He even takes some crucial actions that will significantly help the war, and the trailer confirms he’ll have a major role to play.

Why Tech Jacket is Important in Invincible

Seeing Tech Jacket alongside the other heroes in the comic book version of the Viltrumite War confirms that the Invincible TV show will follow a similar path. While the show might have some surprises and deviations from the original story, as we’ve seen in other arcs, the heroes from the Invincible comics will be involved. It’s good to know that includes Tech Jacket, as he could easily have been left out or replaced with a new character.

I’m so hyped for Invincible Season 4, coming to Prime Video on March 18th! One little thing still bugging me is that they haven’t announced who’s going to voice Tech Jacket yet. But the cast they have revealed is incredible – Lee Pace as Thragg, Matthew Rhys as Dinosaurus, and Danai Gurira as Universa! I’m guessing we’ll hear about even more voice actors as the release date gets closer, and I can’t wait to see everything come to life!
