Quarter Up is adding Allen the Alien as a new playable character in Invincible VS! He’s a fan favorite from both the comic and the show. Allen is a ‘Striker’ type character, meaning he excels at close-range combat, dealing damage, and keeping opponents off balance. You can see him in action in the trailer linked below.
You’ll be able to play as Allen and nine other characters in the upcoming open beta for the game, launching on Xbox Series X/S and PS5 from April 9th at 10 AM PT to April 11th at 9 PM PT. The roster includes popular characters like Invincible, Bulletproof, Omni Man, Robot, Battle Beast, Atom Eve, Thula, Rex Splode, and Monster Girl. Plus, you can battle it out across six unique stages, such as the Kinetic Chamber, a nighttime version of Hometown Invasion, the Himalayas, and more.
Invincible VS arrives on April 30th for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. The game will start with 18 playable characters, including recently announced additions like Dupli-Kate and Powerplex, as well as Anissa and Lucan from the Viltrumites. The developers have hinted that two more characters will be revealed soon.
Plus, we’ll be adding four more playable characters after launch with the Year 1 Character Pass. Keep an eye out for announcements about them in the months ahead!
