Considering the powerful characters in *Invincible VS* – like Omni-Man and Battle Beast – adding Cecil Stedman might seem strange. But fans of the comic and the Amazon series know he’s a serious threat. See how he fights in the new tag fighter game below.
Even though Cecil looks weak, he’s surprisingly well-armed, with everything from lasers and grenades to even teleportation – which he uses to disorient his enemies. If he’s really in trouble, he can call for help from the Reanimen or request a powerful orbital strike from The Hammer. It wasn’t enough to defeat Omni-Man, but it was certainly an impressive display of force.
Developer Quarter Up, working with Cecil, has announced that sign-ups are now open for the closed alpha test, which will begin later this year. You can find more information here. While details about the test are still under wraps, the complete game is planned to include 15 to 20 playable characters and a full Story Mode.
Invincible VS launches in 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
