If the gameplay in Invincible VS is as good as its exciting open beta trailer suggests, we’re going to be very impressed.
The game is fast-paced and exciting, just as you’d hope. It really shows how powerful a player can become once they learn a character’s key moves and combinations. There’s a huge variety of techniques – juggling, mix-ups, overhead attacks, and special moves – and it looks both enjoyable and satisfying to master. The developers at Quarter Up clearly understand each character well, though it will likely take players a significant amount of practice to become proficient.
Launching on April 9th for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC and running until April 11th, the game features Invincible and Omni-Man alongside a large cast of eight other playable characters, including Eve. Players will have their work cut out for them trying to master everyone! Fans of the Invincible comics and show will also be excited to unlock a special Omni-Man skin for the complete game.
We’re heading right to Omni-Man to check him out, but you can explore other characters if you prefer. Either way, this is a great chance to try out the 3v3 team fighter before it comes out on April 30th.
