Shortly after being revealed as the last character available at the game’s launch, Conquest has received a detailed gameplay showcase. Developers from Quarter Up discussed his moveset, explaining how it’s inspired by the powerful Viltrumite character from the original series.
Conquest is just as relentless and ruthless as he was in the recent season of the show and the comics, though his attacks aren’t quite as devastatingly powerful. Fully committed to the Viltrumite Empire’s goals, he fights without hesitation, even against strong opponents like Nolan, Invincible, and Eve. He’s a flexible fighter, able to quickly and efficiently defeat enemies at both close and long range, and works particularly well alongside other Viltrumites.
He’s joining Titan, Allen the Alien, Dupli-Kate, and Ella Mental in a 3-versus-3 fighting game that fans of the show and fighting games are really excited about. More characters, including Universa and The Immortal, will be added this summer.
The game Invincible VS will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S starting April 30th. Players can try it out early with an open beta test from April 9th to 11th.
